I had a tight deadline to get the home sold for we were PCS'ing out of state. Upon talking to Kenny I had mentioned I needed my home sold in about 30 days. With the upmost confidence he reassured me it was not a problem and he'd get it done. HE DID! The level of professionalism, grace, time management, refinement, elegance, patience and knowledge this man has is remarkable. ZillowVERIFIED Ken Barefoot is by far the best real-estate agent Ive worked with in over 15 years of owning property. That is not an endorsement that I give lightly, or often. I have dealt with agents from all over the world, from Germany to Hawaii and everywhere in-between. Ken is #1. He is extremely knowledgeable, knows the local market better than anyone else, and extremely diligent in representing you. He fully supports military families and understands the nuances of working with the VA loan program. Whether you are buying or selling, Ken has your best interests in mind. I was told by multiple other agents that my home in the historic district of Haymount would not sell for any more than $179k. We just sold it for over $206k. This would not have been possible without Kens hard work and determination. He found the right buyer, and overcame major obstacles to the sale, all during the COVID-19 pandemic! I trust Ken explicitly, he is a great no-nonsense negotiator, and represented my investment while I was deployed, 3,000 miles away. He is phenomenal at communicating and always stayed on top of emerging issues. He knew what to do at every turn and how to handle the multiple offers and counter offers we received. I would tell you to ask for Ken by name. Even if I never move to North Carolina again, he will be my first call if I want to invest in another home, anywhere on the east coast. Ken will find you the right home (if you are looking) or the right buyers (if you are selling), and you should feel confident in his honest assessment of your propertys value and the strength of the local market.
