My husband and I just moved into our new home in Virginia. We have been so happy to start getting settled. When we first got a hold of Kendra Porter, she immediately went out of her way to set up some showings with very little notice. Max, one of Kendra's team, showed us the first house. There were some excellent things about the home, but ultimately we both thought it was not the one. Max was talking about the subdivision he lived in and invited us to his family's home for coffee. This was undoubtedly the first time I had ever heard this from a Realtor. He wanted us to have a chance to see if there was a home in there we might like. When Kendra met with us for the next showing, we immediately liked her. She was friendly and very knowledgeable. One thing I liked about Kendra was that she knew the house's location. She was able to point out the conveniences of living in this area. We could tell she was familiar with all the custom work on the house. I knew I wanted this house even though it was a little more than we wanted to pay. We felt blessed to get this beautiful property, and she was able to negotiate an affordable price for us. I was nervous about so many things, and her other team member, Lexi, who was a very hard worker, would answer my questions and always get back to me in a very short time. Kendra and her team were a fine-oiled machine functioning as one. Pulling off a simultaneous sale on our house and buying here in VA is difficult. Yet we were treated with respect, and all our questions were answered. Kendra, Kati, Max, and Lexi were comprehensive and explained everything to us. My calls were always returned, and the stress was really getting to me, and Kendra was such an understanding and empathetic person. She wanted me to trust that things would go as planned and that she was there to make our buying a house a positive experience, yet she never treated us as if "it was just another sale." The whole team was terrific. I think that the people working with you have much to do with your success. Kendra is a fantastic realtor who is responsive and considerate, does what she says she will do and is very detail oriented. My husband and I would highly recommend her for buying or selling.
