Rebecca did an excellent job representing us while selling our first home and buying our forever home. She is a level headed, kind and ethical person. We worked on and off with her for nearly three years before finding a home that suited our needs. Both of these transactions happened to take place right as our second son was born. We had photos of our home scheduled the same day he was born (a day early) and Rebecca and her team never skipped a beat. She was reliable and demonstrated a willingness in a few situations to go well above and beyond what I would have expected from an agent. Getting a home ready to sell, buying a new home, packing, closing, and moving with a toddler and a newborn was daunting from the outset to say the least. This was all set into motion in mid-August, and we just finally closed on the final transaction last week. While there were definitely ups and downs (our home took a bit longer to sell than originally expected -- nothing to do with Rebecca), we wouldn't have wanted anyone other than Rebecca in our corner. Keeping our house in "show ready" condition day after day with a destructive toddler in our midst, all while our sleep deprivation and exhaustion were reaching new heights, was nothing short of a grueling experience. Right as our outlook deteriorated after over two weeks of promising showings with no offers, and we were getting ready to delist and wait until next spring, Rebecca knocked it out of the park and got us two offers above asking. We had no issues with inspection or appraisal and had a successful closing. That should be the end of the story. But, it isn't. When we moved into our new home, unfortunately the previous owners left some items behind. Outside of us pursuing legal recourse (which seemed excessive), Rebecca had no other obligation beyond contacting the seller's agent to attempt to have the prior owners come and dispose of their remaining things. After a week of unsuccessful attempts, Rebecca and her husband drove out personally and helped us dispose of the unwanted items. I don't believe this is a common occurrence in most real estate transactions in our market segment, but I wanted to mention this as it illustrates that Rebecca is one of those rare realtors who isn't just in it for a quick commission. She was patient, steady, and when it came time to really stand out from the pack, she delivered. I wholeheartedly recommend her to any buyer or seller.
