I live in Texas and after some research I thought she is the right person to sell my house. My significant other and I started our home search in August of 2018 but had NO clue on what to look for given our limited budget (two public school teacher salaries). Kelly was incredibly patient. Even when we felt stressed with our jobs and needed to postpone the search, she assured us that we could take it at whatever pace that made us most comfortable. She wasn't one of those realtors who was looking to make a fast and easy sale or pushed us to settle on a house that we felt was "just okay," but rather she encouraged us to be choosy despite our small budget. She was not just an agent, but a friend. Kelly always reminded us that buying our first home should be an exciting and smooth process, and she worked hard to make that happen for us. She frequently checked in on us and pointed out specific homes that she felt was within our budget and met some of the non-negotiables we had. Every text message she sent us was supportive and she was up any ANY HOUR of the day or night to answer our one million questions (I am really not exaggerating when I say I believe she does not sleep because it is not humanly possible to answer every text within 10 minutes tops at the times my significant other and I sent them to her). She carved out time to look at homes with us between her children's extra curricular activities schedules and even on weekends or during dinner time (there were moments where I wondered if she was going to miss a school function over our pickiness and wanting to see houses a second time). She is one of those agents that you can FEEL how much she truly cares for your home buying experience. At every house we saw, she gave us great advice on how to budget to make updates or changes we felt were necessary, but not immediate. She was very honest and forthcoming about whether she felt the houses were overpriced or a good bang for our buck. Even when my significant other and I were indecisive or did not see eye-to-eye on some features of the houses in our portal, Kelly made sure that the houses met both of our wants before taking us to see them. She showed up and stayed with us throughout the entire inspection and even had references for anything we needed whether it was furniture, flooring, remodeling parts of the house, any service at all (really, you name... she has a person you can contact). She did her research, she negotiated well on our behalf, and she always had our best interests at the forefront of her mind with every decision. We ended up buying our forever house that we absolutely adore and are still in shock we were able to afford! There are moments where I wake up and ask myself if I'm dreaming. The whole process, from start to finish, even the paperwork and getting the loan worked out felt so easy-- all made possible by Kelly. You really could not ask for a better agent.
