That is the moment our housing nightmare started. We went through the multiple real estate agencies trying to sell our home we purchased brand new five years earlier. It seems that the only sale strategy our brokers had on mind was to drop the price below the far market value so that the house sells itself. That was not acceptable for two reasons. The house was almost paid off and every price drop felt like giving a money straight out of our bank accounts. Secondly Greenwood is low income area and we moved to the moderately expensive city. We needed lot of cash just to make 20% down payment. Years went and we became reluctant landlords. In the Spring of 2017 four years after we moved out of Greenwood, Mr. Dan Peele who sold us the house nine years earlier recommended to us Keller Lawrence agency. I stopped by their office during a brief few hours visit in the April 2017 but nobody was available to talk to me. Few days later a found a message I still have on my voicemail. It was Mrs. Danita Williams, one of associates of Mr. Lawrence. She was not discouraged by the fact that we were bound by a rental agreement we had with our tenant until the end of November 2017. November came and Mrs. Williams was ready to get the job done in spite of approaching holiday season that usually mean screeching halt for the housing market. The house was ready for a sale within a week. She had few showings before the year end and upward of three dozen showings before she found a buyer at the end of the February of 2018. The house was sold for a full but fair asking price. The closing process went without a glitch. By that time we were so confident in the skills of Mrs. Williams that we made an offer on the new house counting on the sale proceeds as a down payment. We are happy to say that this message is typed from our new home. We could not enough recommend Mrs. Danita and the office of Mr. Lawrence. They are true professional in act not just in words.
