About Kaylan Forbis

I am a long time resident of Grays Harbor, born in Aberdeen, WA and raised on the coast in Westport, WA. I received my Associates of Arts at Grays Harbor College, and a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice at Washington State University. Immediately following college, I moved to the city to pursue a career in law enforcement. In this short amount of time, I realized what Grays Harbor had to offer, and the feeling of missing home sunk in. As a long-time resident of Grays Harbor it has always been in my long-term plan to give back to the community that helped raise me. Real Estate has offered me that opportunity by allowing me to assist incoming residents and Grays Harbor natives (like myself) in buying or selling their homes. To me, it isn't just as simple as buying and/or selling a home; it is changing the course of an individual's/families life. For me to have an impact on that is a big honor and I take pride in that. Aside from Real Estate Brokerage, I currently devote a portion of my time to youth sports in the area. Ever since I was in grade school at Ocosta Elementary I've always had a passion for sports. Like myself, I've found that sports for a lot of youth are a release from reality, a freedom. I currently ref school sports in Grays Harbor, assist with youth development at the YMCA of Grays Harbor and plan on mentoring youth in the future. Over the years there is one thing I have realized, "There's no place like home".
