ZillowVERIFIEDKaty made our home buying process easy and stress free in a crazy market. Her local knowledge really made a difference in being able to find us our "forever home". Her flexibility and willingness to show us houses in multiple areas of Charleston really helped us narrow down our search. As first time home buyers, Katy walked us through the process by recommending financing options, setting up inspections, reaching out to repair services, answering zoning questions, and many other questions that came up during the process. Her responses to our many questions were always expeditious and professional. If you're looking to buy a home in Charleston, I highly recommend using Katy!

ZillowVERIFIED Katy is very knowledgeable, responsive and took the time to educate me on the entire home buying process. Not being from SC, I was unaware of all the nuances that come with purchasing a home here. I came to rely on her not only to ensure that I understood what I needed to do but to ensure all aspects of this process came together and on time. Katy exceeded my expectations and I would recommend her to anyone in the market looking to purchase a home.

ZillowVERIFIED 5 stars may be an understatement in this case. As a first time home buyer I knew and even told Katy up front I was going to be her biggest pain of a client. I went into the process with only one non negotiable, I wanted to buy a house. I wasnt able to narrow down based on location, based on budget, based on bedrooms or bathrooms, I was literally open to everything to begin the process. I relied a lot on Katys guidance and expertise throughout the beginning of the process and she helped me, through the process of elimination, figure out what my priorities were and how to put them in order. Once we had a concrete idea of what I was in the market for Katy was so amazing at scheduling showings, finding properties that I hadnt in my own searches, and communicating everything with me as fast as possible to give me the best chance at seeing Properties and having the opportunity to put in an offer. Even as I'm writing this review more things are occurring to me, like the timing with covid-19, the fact that even after shopping against all her recommendations, I still used them for each part of the process, lender, insurance, inspector etc.. and most importantly, I'm now in the perfect house, in the perfect neighborhood, and thrilled with the price! If you have the chance to work with Katy I can confidently say youre in the best hands possible.

ZillowVERIFIED Katy was extremely knowledgeable, courteous and acted fast to secure my dream home. I was out of the country when I saw the house come on the market announcing an open house that day. Knowing that homes in this area rarely came on the market and sold fast, I was able to contact Katy and she immediately helped. Katy helped me with making an appropriate offer and the process when very smoothly.

ZillowVERIFIED My husband and I were ready to buy our first house this year. When it came time to find a real estate agent to help us on our search, we got in touch with Katy Sinkler and the Rene Kramer team at Carolina One. Katy was great, she met us all over Charleston to show us properties in our price range/wishlist. She was so helpful and answered any questions we had (which were many, as we were newbies to the home buying experience), so we felt very comfortable with the agent and team we were working with. When we found the right place for us, the Rene Kramer team went above and beyond to make sure our best interests were met. After initial inspection, there were a few surprises with the house itself, but the repair process and negotiations were smooth thanks to the hard work of Katy and her colleagues at Carolina One. We were able to move into our new home on schedule, and now, a few months later, it feels like the perfect place for us. We love our new home! Big thanks to Katy Sinkler at Carolina One, we couldnt have done it without her. I will be recommending her in the future to anyone I know who is looking to buy a home in Charleston.

ZillowVERIFIED Katy made for a fantastic first home buying experience. She was extremely accessible and always very prompt with responses to questions (as there were plenty on our end being first time home buyers). Anytime we requested to view a house, she was very quick on getting a showing set up and always had great feedback on the homes. This experience wouldn't have been possible without her.

ZillowVERIFIED As a relatively new resident of Charleston, Katy's knowledge of the area and neighborhoods was indispensable. She had great insight into the dynamics of different areas and went well above and beyond to really give us an idea of different areas that could fit what we were looking for. She was always readily available and quickly responded to set up viewings or send along additional information. In addition the whole process went really smoothly using the recommended lenders and contacts she provided, and she really seemed to have great relationships with everyone involved. Thank you Katy!!!

ZillowVERIFIED Katy is absolutely phenomenal! We had a complicated out of state purchase and she went above and beyond viewing properties, sending us video walk throughs and putting up with all the craziness that comes with an out of state purchase. We found the perfect place with her help. After we purchased we still didnt move for a few weeks and she totally took care of our house for us until we got here. LOVE HER. Would absolutely use her again and again for any future real estate needs we may have. Also, shes just a super awesome person so theres that :)

ZillowVERIFIED Katy was extremely knowledgeable and tenacious in helping us find our first home in Mt. Pleasant. She probably looked at over 15 homes with my wife and I, and even after being outbid 4 times, we were able to get into a house we adore. Katy was always quick to respond to questions we had or with new information on houses popping up on the market, sometimes getting us in even before the house had gone on the market. She was never pushy, constantly fought for us to get the best deal, and always had a good idea of what we were looking for. Even when we closed on the house while I was out of town, Katy was there to help my wife through every step of the paperwork. We would recommend her as a real estate agent for anyone, especially someone looking for their first house like we were!
