Q: 1. What advice would you give a buyer trying to purchase a home?

Start with how you need the home and location to function, not with a list of properties from Zillow. Price matters, but so do school zones, commute patterns, insurance, flood exposure, boating access, private club commitments, future resale and the true monthly cost of ownership. I also encourage buyers to get their financing and insurance questions handled early. In Florida, the roof, windows, electrical system, plumbing and flood zone can affect both insurability and affordability. My job is to help buyers evaluate the entire decision. That means being direct when the numbers do not support the price, identifying risks that may be easy to miss and comparing the long-term value of different homes and neighborhoods. The right house is not simply the one you love during the showing. It should also make sense after the inspection, when the insurance quote arrives and when it is eventually time to sell.

Q: 2. What advice would you give a seller trying to sell their home?

Price, condition, presentation and positioning all have to support each other. A great house can sit if it is priced beyond what its condition justifies, and a fairly priced house can still underperform if buyers do not understand what makes it valuable. Before listing, I look at which improvements are worth making, what buyers are likely to notice, how the property compares with its actual competition and whether an inspection could uncover problems that would be better addressed in advance. Preparation does not always mean renovating. Sometimes paint, repairs, cleaning, staging and better presentation make the biggest difference. Once the home is listed, pay attention to what the market is saying. If there have been ten meaningful showings and no offers, something is probably out of alignment. The goal is not simply to get the home on the market. It is to create the strongest possible position before buyers begin negotiating.

Q: 3. What types of clients have you worked with?

I work with buyers and sellers throughout Jupiter and Northern Palm Beach County, with a particular focus on waterfront and riverfront properties, luxury relocation and strategic home sales. My clients include families relocating to Jupiter, physicians and medical leaders moving for new positions, executives, move-up buyers, waterfront homeowners, longtime owners preparing to sell, private club buyers and sellers, and clients who are downsizing into the next stage of life. Many of these decisions involve more than choosing a house. My clients may be comparing school zones, hospital commutes, boating routes, club commitments, insurance costs or several very different communities. I help them organize those factors, understand the tradeoffs and make a decision that works beyond closing day. I am a good fit for clients who want direct advice, detailed information and a clear strategy rather than someone who will simply tell them what they want to hear.

Q: 4. Describe a recent transaction you are fond of. How did it go?

A recent transaction I am especially proud of involved a luxury home in a prestigious private golf club. We went under contract with multiple offers and ultimately secured a contract more than $100,000 over the asking price. What made the transaction meaningful was not just the final number. The sellers trusted the preparation, positioning and launch strategy. We identified the features that would matter most to the right buyer, presented the property accordingly and created enough interest for the sellers to negotiate from a strong position. That transaction is a good example of why selling a home is not simply about choosing a price from recent comparable sales. The property, the likely buyer, the timing and the way the home enters the market all affect the result. When those pieces support each other, a seller has a much better opportunity to protect both their price and their terms.

Q: 5. How did you get started in Real Estate?

I came into real estate after spending more than ten years working as a research scientist and medical device product manager. I worked with hospital systems and physicians throughout Florida, so my professional background was built around research, complex decisions, detailed information and high-stakes problem-solving. As a Jupiter native, real estate became a natural way to combine that analytical background with my knowledge of the area. I understood that buying or selling here involves details that are difficult to learn from listings alone, including neighborhood differences, school zones, boating access, insurance, private clubs and long-term resale. I approached real estate as an advisory business from the beginning. My role is to gather the right information, explain what it means in practical terms and help clients make a sound decision. That remains the foundation of how I work today.

Q: 6. Do you have any special education or training that will benefit your clients?

My background as a research scientist and medical device product manager has had a significant influence on how I represent clients. I spent more than a decade working in environments where details mattered, information had to be evaluated carefully and recommendations needed to be supported by evidence. That training benefits my real estate clients because I do not look at a property or pricing decision at the surface level. I examine comparable sales, market activity, property condition, insurance considerations, ownership costs and future resale. For waterfront buyers, that can also include dock specifications, water depth, bridge clearance and boating routes. For relocating physicians and executives, it may include hospital access, on-call commutes, school choices and daily logistics. I am also a lifelong Jupiter resident. That combination of analytical training and firsthand local knowledge allows me to give clients direct, practical advice while helping them identify risks and opportunities that may not be obvious online.

Growing up in Jupiter gave me a real appreciation for our native wildlife, the Loxahatchee River and the natural areas that make this community special. HOBBIES/INTEREST

Most of my free time is spent with my family. We enjoy boating, visiting Jupiter's parks and family friendly activities, being outside and taking advantage of the natural beauty we have here.
