About Katie Allen

I'm a native Nebraskan, born and raised in our beautiful capital city of Lincoln. We've got the best of both worlds, a small-town community vibe with access to amazing art, music, dining, and entertainment that rival much larger cities. I graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a Bachelor of Journalism and started my professional career as a television news reporter in Omaha. A few years after college, I took a leap of faith and moved to California, where I continued working in the Television & Film industry before transitioning into sales and marketing, working for companies such as M&M Mars and ONEHOPE Wine. Chocolate and wine...what could be better than that? Ultimately, family and the good life of Nebraska called me back home where I became a professional Realtor®, a career my friends and family always suggested would be perfect for me. I'm happy to be home, raising my two daughters, and thriving in an industry that I'm passionate about, working hard on behalf of my clients to deliver their dreams. My personal motto is "Integrity is Everything." I believe in doing what's right, being honest, especially when it is difficult, and always doing what I say I will do. I'm proud to be part of Woods Bros Realty servicing Lincoln and surrounding areas.

HOBBIES/INTEREST

I love the performing arts and I'm passionate about sharing those moments with my family. I'm a lifelong concertgoer who loves to travel. In the past several years, I've learned to play golf and I spend free time on the range.

I'm newly engaged, planning a wedding in June of 2027. I have 2 daughters and 3 bonus kids now too.

We met Katie through Zillow and she was a fantastic from start to finish. We looked for a solid 16 months and she kept in touch the whole time.
