I interviewed five agents including Kathy to choose the best agent to sell my Mom's home. Kathy was the clear winner of the interview process and I never doubted that I made the right choice. Kathy has been a joy to work with. Kathy was always willing to go the extra mile and handle coordinating visits, and repairs...and also checking on the status of activities/security around the house. If I had another home to sell, I would skip the interview process and call Kathy Parker, she is the best.

She was very knowledgeable about all of the houses she showed us and always had all the information on the properties including any restrictions when we arrived for the showing. I can't imagine calling anyone else. Kathy has protected our interest every time. She will often end up doing the work in a transaction that the other realtor has failed to do-thus saving the deal. Her ability to write a contract has spared us many misunderstandings and hassles in a negotiation. We have been in our current home 6 months when an issue came up with our builder. Contacted Kathy Parker and provided details of what we were looking for and some MLS numbers to give a clearer picture of what we wanted. Two days later she sent us a list of 15 - 20 homes to consider and arranged to show them when we arrived. Now knowing what we were looking for, she eliminated homes that she knew we wouldnt like and added ones that we had not found ourselves. (She listens to what you want and doesnt push you towards what you dont want!) Bottom line, Kathy found the perfect home for us and negotiated a great price with literally no hassles. Since we moved to Maryville we have recommended Kathy to no less than five of our close friends. Our experience with her proves why.She is knowledgeable, honest, works hard, and, best of all, listens and expertly answers all questions.We owned a hillside home and adjacent wooded lot on edge of Maryville and wanted to move to a flat-land condo in the City.She found us a lovely free-standing condo in Jamestown Village. The owner was terminally ill and had to be placed in a nursing home. Had he passed, the deal would have wound up in Probate Court. Kathy arranged a quick and amicable closing. West Hills is a mature subdivision and no in-fill lots had been sold there in many years. She listed and promoted our lot and sold it within months.It was late in the year when we moved and listed our West Hills house. Kathy found us a buyer who needed VA loan closing cost accommodation which she promptly resolved to everyone's satisfaction.Kathy is a joy to work with and produces results.

She is a good communicator, has a good sense of humor and makes things happen when they need to. I am a minister and my wife a teacher. I received a call to a church in another state. After we moved, we had two 6 month contracts with two separate agents who were not helpful, to say the least. The first knew nothing about the market in Maryville, had us do work on the house that was not necessary and then had us Price the house way too high. Then she was non-responsive and nearly impossible to reach after the first month. But the second agent, David Talley was a real piece of work. He refused to speak to my wife and me in the evenings, the only time when were both available, he took money to pay for cleaning and yard work on the house that never took place, kept us from disclosing an issue with the house that sabotaged our only offer on the house, kept us from receiving the earnest money when those who signed backed out, and then blessed my wife out and quit. So Kathy was an absolute Godsend. We had a contract on the house in less than 6 weeks and closed on it in less than 3 months. If you have a property that you want to sell quickly at the best price, don't mess around with people who may or may not know what they are doing. Sign with Kathy. You will be glad you did.

We listed our house with her for six months at the lower of two selling prices she recommended. And she told us that our house was perfectly ready to sell, and that she expected it to sell quickly. Over six months, only a handful--five or six--showings were held. There was no neighborhood marketing; the flyer she prepared was less-than-stellar; and, feedback was painfully slow.We were very disappointed in her services. She was anxious to list, but didn't do a thing to really sell our home.
