When purchasing a home I would advise a buyer to talk to a loan officer and get a pre-approval for a home loan before looking at homes. It is best to work with a Realtor that communicates with you and is willing to listen to what your wants and needs are. Most importantly..make sure you continue looking until you find a home you love!
When selling a home I would advise a seller to work with an experienced agent that communicates clearly, is ethical and can negotiate well. Confirm that professional photos will be done at your home and the home will be advertised extensively and will update you on the progress. I would also advise to use a Realtor that will only work for you on the sale not the buyer so there is no conflict of interest.
I have worked with buyers, sellers and investors over the years.
My most recent memorable transaction was working with a 77 year old gentleman that was looking for his first home. I was able to find him the perfect spot to call home and on top of that I was able to get him a $15,000 credit from the seller. It was a very rewarding transaction for all involved.
I got into Real Estate because my past time was viewing homes at open houses. I thought I'd make my past time my career and I'm so happy I did, I am a full time Realtor now and I love it!!
I have a BA in Sociology and Administrative studies which helps me understand all types of clients and handle the paperwork professionally. I have also had a Real Estate course in Ethics and Negotiations that helps me in each transaction.
