1. What advice would you give a buyer trying to purchase a home?
I would suggest 3 actions:
1. Get preapproved. Find out how much you can afford. You may be surprised and can afford more than you thought.
2. Find a Realtor with not only experience but patience. It is okay to take your time and look for a home.
3. Not every house is perfect and you may have to compromise on some items.
2. What advice would you give a seller trying to sell their home?
1. Hire an experienced Realtor to do a market analysis of your home to determine the asking price.
2. Ask your Realtor to go through your home and make suggestions on staging, decluttering, etc. Take action and try to do some of the suggestions.
3. Be realistic regarding your pricing. You can ask a high price but it also could sit on the market for a long time and in the meantime, you are losing buyers.
3. What types of clients have you worked with?
I have worked with several types of buyers and that is what makes my job so interesting. I have worked with first time home buyers to luxury home buyers.

I would recommend Kathy and the Cislo group to anyone looking for a realtor. Kathy was attentive to all my needs and walked me through everything quickly and efficiently. She and son Ben were there to show me homes at a moments notice. I had a great experience.
Kathy and Ben did a fantastic job in selling our home. They were very knowledgeable and easy to work with. We sold our home in three days. We especially appreciate how Kathy kept us apprised of any issues that arose with the buyer and how she helped to resolve them. One area that could have used more attention was help with the title company. It has been more than 30 years since we sold a home and a little bit more of a heads up on actions that we needed to take with the title company would have been helpful. Having said that, everything worked out and we are thrilled with how quickly our home sold at over our asking price.

Kathleen Cislo was absolutely FANTASTIC to work with! Extremely attentive, patient, detailed and phenomenal communication and follow up skills. We found her by 'chance' by way of reaching out to her on another listing she had by clicking "contact listing agent" on Realtorcom. Although we didn't like 'that' house after just 15 minutes Kathleen mentioned another home that she felt would be a perfect fit...and she was RIGHT! I'm still very impressed that she's so skilled that after just 15 minutes she "knew" the right home for us, and it turned out to be the home we purchased! I would, and will, highly recommend Kathleen!
Kathy was great - she provided solid comps that allowed us to get a great price for our house. Her team provided a home warranty to cover the house while we were selling. 25 days later we accepted an offer. Very impressed
