FAQ
Get in touch with a great lender. Trust the experts to give your honest insight to your preparedness for buying. Many times first time buyers thing their situation does not allow for a purchase. A good lender will help them understand the process and advise on things that may actually be hindering their pre-approval. Also, I let first time buyers know they will need a down payment and closing costs. All things that can be sourced many way-not just savings. Find the professionals to give you good advise.
Consider walking through your home as though you were a buyer. What would you expect to see, find, have in a home in your area. Take the time to declutter and clean before you consider any repairs or upgrades. Then, talk to a Realtor to get honest input on repairs/upgrades that are worth your time & money to invest in. Many time, seller will only get a fraction of the upgrade cost back in a sale price. Lean on a professional to give you sound advise.
In my 20+ years, I have worked with many types of clients. I have helped first time buyers, sellers moving up in homes as well as sellers downsizing. I have assisted investors in flips, rentals and 1031 exchanges. I have experience with new construction working for a builder and buyers purchasing. I have a little experience in commercial leases. I've seen just about every type of good and bad situation. My professional connections are a value add to any real estate transaction.
