Kathe Van Hoften is a delightful realtor to work with. She truly takes time to understand your goals in buying a property and then works tirelessly to find exactly the right fit for you. I met three times with Kathe prior to moving to So Cal. Each time she showed me several properties which helped me understand what was available. More importantly, each visit enabled her to better understand my needs and goals. She was soon able to show me exactly the perfect property that fully met my needs. I immediately fell in love with the property and Kathe proceeded to negotiate with the sellers and, within 36 hours, the property was mine. I have worked with other realtors over the years and Kathe, by far, was the best to work with. My time was not wasted, she listened well and helped me get into the home of my dreams....who could ask for more?! Lastly, Kathe is a very kind person and pleasant to work with. I say this after working with some rather abrasive realtors in the past. Kathe's pleasant nature and professionalism is truly a breath of fresh air. :)

Kathe is fantastic at what she does! Her knowledge of the market, the area and of general home presentation and marketing is outstanding. She helped make our home beautiful for the professional photographer whom she brought in. It was obvious from the very start that she loves what she does. She has a level of enthusiasm which far exceeds any agent I've done business with. This is my third home selling/buying transaction. I don't think there is another agent out there who is as hard-working, knowledgeable and committed as she is. We never had to seek her out to question the next steps because she was in contact with us each week at a minimum. Our home was on the market 6 days when she brought in a full price offer and has seen the transaction through to the final closing of escrow. She handled what is typically a very stressful experience (selling a home) and made it feel like a breeze. I strongly recommend Kathe!

Kathe is a wonderful person (and mom), and I truly believe this carries through to her real estate persona. She is part of the Mission Viejo and Aliso Viejo communities, and knows both VERY well. She has many resources through her agency that she uses strategically, and knows values of each area and their "pockets". She is a pleasure to work with, and is available through late hours (we did text or email during late hours). The "good" was because during the sale of our home and purchase of our new home, Kathe was fortunate enough to take two vacations, one which limited her connectability. Our escrow times were during peak vacation times, so it could have been expected. It's a good thing to ask when interviewing realtors. Despite that one "good" amongst all other "excellents", I would absolutely recommend Kathe Van Hoften for purchase & sale of homes. p.s. For the purchase of our new home, she made NUMEROUS trips to the house for appointments. Not sure others would do that, and with a genuine helpfulness.
