ZillowVERIFIED Simply the best. She understands the industry like no other. I say that after dealing with other agents, the loan officer, and lawyers. Kate has a unique way of tying all the different parties together and she was able to give me a play by play explanation when things were not making sense to me. She always came up with an answer and she turned out to be correct every time. For example she helped me understand my closing costs and that is not her job. Most important we love our new house and feel that all parties were fair and reasonable with negotiations. This all begins and ends with an agent whom you can trust.

ZillowVERIFIED We can honestly say from a first time home buyers experience, Kate was the first agent we met that not only had the best knowledge of Dundee area, but also who truly wanted to help and simply the kindest person at heart (and we attempted to work with three others prior to her that werent the best fit for us). Kate was always responsive, always made herself available to show us homes or chat (she showed us over 20-30 houses probably). Not only that but she got us in to see homes before they were listed on the market which gave us the comfort knowing she really does take care of her clients and watches the market along side you! We will always recommend Kate as an agent! Thanks again!

ZillowVERIFIED Thankful to Kate for helping us thru the process of selling our place. She took her time to go thru everything with us to make sure we put our best foot forward and we were able to quickly sell our home at a great price. From the marketing materials, beautiful photography and helping to stage our home to up to the last minute before closing helping me get furniture out that I had no way to move and all the things in between. We are grateful for the efforts made by Kate on our behalf. Definitely would recommend for sale or purchases.

ZillowVERIFIED Kate came to us highly recommended from a family friend who had a number of great experiences with Kate, and she lived up to the hype! Kate was our realtor for the sale of our previous home as well as the realtor assisting with the purchase of our new home. Kate was always available for questions and was able to answer any that we had with ease. She was able to give us actionable advice with both transactions that helped us to maximize our investment in each property leaving us comfortable and able to enjoy the process. We would highly recommend Kate for any real estate needs without hesitation!

ZillowVERIFIED Kate Schumacher is Highly Professional and I would recommend her 200%.I've worked with Kate on 3 transactions and each one 'just got better'. Brochures are the most highly professional and very impressive and knows what to look for to make your home 'most sellable.' She is always available to help with any details that arise and goes the extra mile to take care of your needs and questions and treats you as a individual! Never pushy...just knows how to get the job done and very precise! One thing I admire is her professionalism and Honesty. She has spent many hours on her research on each home she sells and is 'up to date' in the market place. I would always recommend Kate to family, friends, etc. I truly recommend A 5 Star Rating and then some..George & Gloria Hansen

ZillowVERIFIED Kate was diligent in her work to get our home sold. She was excellent with communication to us, answering her calls or reaching out to us immediately via text if she could not take a call. We dealt with some weird circumstances with our buyer and several cure balls. She handled negotiations with tact and skill. There was more than once that I knew she was on our side sharing options we could take or talking us through options we were contemplating. She knew when to advise and when to let us wrestle with the decision. Kate knew the area extremely well and spent extra time with us, nervous sellers, on more than one occasion helping us to navigate the ever changing housing market.

ZillowVERIFIED This was our first time buying a home and Kate took us through the entire process from start to finish. She wasn't too pushy, aggressive, or too laid back. She was very informative all the way through. Once we closed, she was still there following up making sure everything was in total order. Not all realtors set the proper expectations; they simply tell you what you want to hear. Kate was the COMPLETE OPPOSITE. The made all expectations clear from the start so outside of the normal surprises, we weren't left out to dry. She was easy to get a hold off and always available. Awesome with kids too! I would recommend her a million times over if you are in the market to sell or buy. Top Notch!

ZillowVERIFIED I was selling my house in the Chicagoland area, and I live in out of state, so it is very difficult to attend to some matters. Kate was extremely helpful in going over to my house to meet contractors to let them in, or in helping make the place presentable, etc. I could not have done it without her, and would strongly recommend her.In addition, she also negotiated a better price for my house than what I thought I could get.

ZillowVERIFIED Kate works closely with us and always follows through onnwhat she says she is going to do! Because we have a large home to sell she has spent extra time and developed various marketing concepts. She always keeps us informed with what is going with our property and also the various other properties in the area. Addtionally, she contacts us before and after the various showings and informs us of the various thoughts of the potential byuers and brokers that have visited the house. We continue to have faith that Kate is the person that will sell our home.

ZillowVERIFIED We moved from Idaho to the Chicago area and had no knowledge of local market conditions or where we would like to purchase a home. Kate solved all of our problems by asking us a few key questions about our lifestyle, housing needs, financial situation, etc. and quickly came up with several homes to review and visit. She also provided further assistance with the lot choice and several ideas about furnishings. She was always professional in her dealings with us and made us feel that our needs were of paramount importance. We were so pleased with Kate that we used her service within 2 years to help sell my mothers home in Schaumburg.

ZillowVERIFIED My husband and I were going through foreclosure and decided to do a short sale and we asked advice from Kate Schumacher who was very helpful and provided all the information we needed to know about a short sale. She informed us about the pro's and con's and whenever we had a question, we would text or call her and always got a response from her right away. I would highly recommend her to anyone that is buying/selling a home.

ZillowVERIFIED Dear Zillow, I would like to tell you about Mrs. Schumacher. I contacted several relators to try and sell my home in Algonquin Il. last year. Mrs. Schumacher stepped up to the plate and took the bull by the horns and said here`s what we need to do. She told me in my situation it would be better for me to do a short sell but it might take a little longer to sell it. I told her to do what she had to do and she did. If I`m ever in need for a relator I will not hesitate to call on Kate .

ZillowVERIFIED Kate was someone who goes above and beyond her responsibilities and duties to serve her clients. We used her when we relocated to Illinois from PA. Her expertise and local knowledge were critical in helping us find the right home in one weekend when we were out there visiting. Likewise, when we unexpectedly had to move back to PA, she her advise and negotiation skills helped us to successfully sell our home in the least stressful manner. She is a great advocate for her client and pleasant to work with. She also introduced us to the best house stager and contracter due to her great networking.

ZillowVERIFIED Kate helped us with our short sale. She was very hands on, always in contact with us. Even once the short sale fell through and we decided to move on with a deed in lieu of foreclosure, she fought to have our fees waived. So she worked hard the whole process and never gave up. We have already recommended her to our friends.
