Karla, from the get go, made herself available whenever we needed to contact her or she would quickly return our calls regardless of her personal time. Prior to my retirement, I was involed in financial sales and her attention to her clients was impeccable. She is a true professional. Karla took the time to learn what type of home and location John and I were interested in. Before our purchase property was listed online, Karla moved quickly to let us see it first. The house and property location were exactly what we were looking for. Being we were coming from out of state, Karla took the time to explain Floridas rules for sight unseen deposits and we were able to secure the home until we could physically get there. Not only did Karla help us find the perfect home, she also took the time to show us around Palm Coast. With all of her attentions to details, we never once felt pressured to buy. After closing, Karla kept checking to see if we were finding everything we needed and to help us secure utility hook ups, medical facilities and social interactions. There is not enough positives I can say regarding Karla Goodman. We will certainly be recommending her to some dear and lifelong friends as they look to move to the area. Karla by checking newly listed homes called us right away (even though it was her off hours bc as fast as homes were listed they were being sold) and we were able to purchase the home. We are from New York and Karla went to the home and gave us a virtual tour (twice) of the home and was able to help us hold the home until we were able to come down to Florida, view it and put an official binder down on the home. Karla also helped my wife during and after closing to navigate the utilities and turnover of the home to her. ( I wasn?t able to be present for the closing). I?ve bought a lot of homes and investment properties across 4 states over my lifetime, involving so many agents I?ve lost count, and I can unequivocally say that Karla is the best. I live in Maryland and became POA for my father after his terrible car accident in 2012 and I had to handle his affairs and home in Palm Coast ? usually by long distance. All this happened after the market had tanked. All the realtors that neighbors recommended quickly pushed me to sell the house except Karla, who took the time to understand the implications of my Dad?s situation (legal, tax, and even potential needs for expensive medical care). Instead, she enabled me to get the house fixed up and profitably rented by a management company, since I could not care for the home. She stayed in touch with me over the course of 7 years providing advice when I inherited the house and after the market recovered. She never got a dime for any of this or acted like she expected it. With Karla?s market advice I finally decided to sell the home in 2019 and she recommended updates again to optimize ROI and excellent workmen who did the work quite affordably. She often supervised the workmen herself as I couldn?t stay in Florida long enough to do everything. When the house sold, we got almost twice what I was originally advised to accept by most realtors in 2012. As a successful registered real-estate professional in Maryland, I fancy myself a good market appraiser and negotiator. But I would have been stupid not to leave that to Karla as she knows the area, the people, and how to get a great deal with all parties feeling treated fairly. I don?t plan to move to Florida and hope never to have to go through anything like what I went through with my father and his home again. But if I did, I?d hope I?d have Karla on my side.

We were not able to be in Florida to oversee those repairs. Karla took over and lined up the different vendors that were needed to get the condo ready. As such, we were able to close.
