I recently completed a transaction with an older, downsizing couple. It was by far my most challenging transaction yet and went on for approximately a year. I helped them find ways to divest themselves of things they were not going to take to their next home, get their home ready for the market, find a buyer and close the deal. It was very rewarding as this was a huge challenge for them as well. Their satisfaction of knowing that the burden was lifted and that we got them the best possible price was very fulfilling to me.
I was fascinated with real estate from about the age of 20. Life happened and I put off my dream as I raised a family with my husband. When my children were a little older, I went to work for a Title Company for nearly 12 years, working closely with local realtors. We made a move from Washington State to Missouri, and I decided it was time to pursue my passion of helping people with something I was very fond of...real estate.
My experience at a title company is very beneficial and helps me help my clients navigate or avoid some of the pitfalls in real estate transactions.
