It had been the residence of a family member for the last 15 years and required a substantial renovations to bring it up to sales ready. We sold and bought in two hot markets (sold in Harrison West/Short North and bought in Upper Arlington). In my opinion, the negotiation skills, local knowledge, and overall experience in the market is what separates a "decent" realtor from a great one! Karen is "battle experienced" and her negotiation experience and just overall "battle/war experience" navigated us through multiple offers on our old house and multiple offers on our new house. She knew what levers to pull, what buttons to push when, when to hit the gas pedal and the brakes...she advised us on what to do and when to do it every step of the way- and this experience helped us get the best contract/offer on our old house and helped us win the contract on our dream house, despite multiple offers on it. Looking back, the entire selling/buying/closing on two houses within 60 days was totally seamless!! There's no doubt this was due to Karen and her team. I am a Keller Williams Realtor in Massachusetts and found Karen to assist relocating my sister. My sister is from Quincy, Ma who was relocating to Columbus, Ohio. I searched my Keller Williams network and got a recommendation for Karen. I wanted an experienced agent who could handle this long distant-time sensitive situation. My sister was selling her condo and moving to Ohio at the same time. She flew out to Ohio on New years weekend 2018 and met with Karen who had set a schedule of showings for a dozen+ condos that fit her needs that weekend. She found her a new construction condo, negotiated the price and got her a just what she wanted. After sister went back home, Karen dealt with all the financing, homebuilder, home inspection, attorney and all the paperwork that needed to happen. It was smooth she made it work like clockwork, sister didnt even need to attend the closing, Karen got her the keys and took care of everything. My sister sold her home on Tuesday and drove to Ohio and got the keys to her new home a few hours later, unbelievable the work she did to make this happen. She went above and beyond to accomplish this and made it look easy. If you need an agent shes very friendly and just a lovely person. I cannot recommend her enough.

We were so nervous about juggling two transactions, but she made the whole process easy and fun. Her assessments of what we could get out of the condo and what we should offer for the new home were both spot on. She even helped out by introducing us to a few contractors to get some of the remedies done on the new home. While we appreciate the referrals, this is the only area we think could be a bit stronger for Karen. (Some of the contractors have been very slow to respond.)
