ZillowVERIFIED When I contacted Karen Schoenthal about selling my father's house, I had no idea how committed she would be to get this done for us. She found multiple sellers and, after accepting an offer, she worked to bring the transaction to completion as quickly as possible. I couldn't believe how fast we had the house sold. I would definitely recommend her to anyone in that area who is looking for a real estate agent. She's the best!

ZillowVERIFIED Karen is exceptional at her job! I cant imagine another agent doing a better job than her. Her advice was rock solid and always on point. She was easy to reach and always responded quickly. She communicates very well over the phone, email, and text. She is well known and knows all the best contractors to handle any repair or cleaning task. She also works with local charities, which helped me find people in need for items I no longer needed.

ZillowVERIFIED This was our second time working with Karen on buying a house but our first time in selling a house. She was great and organized to the point where it felt like she was reading our minds! Karen is a seasoned realtor who knows the market, the cities she operates in, and has great connections where if you are in need of last minute changes she can make a couple of calls to make it happen. If you want a realtor who is there for you and not just for herself or her company, reach out to her to help buy or sell a home.

ZillowVERIFIED Karen Schoenthal has been the best real estate agent we could have ever asked for. In 2019 my wife and I were in the market for our very first home, after weeks of bad luck, Karen came to our rescue. Karen took care of us as if we were her own family, and you dont find that often. My wife and I still remember when we closed on the first home it was very emotional for all of us. Fast forward 5 years and our family expanded by 2, and again Karen was just a phone call away. Closed on the home within 2 weeks of the first call and 3 days after it hit the market. If we could give more than 5 stars then we would. Weve sent several of our friends to Karen and they all have the same reaction. We absolutely love Karen and hope we never have to use any one else! 10/10!

ZillowVERIFIED Top of the line service, she is absolutely INCREDIBLE. I sold my house for about $12K MORE than what I thought was already a tall target point. Her listings are fabulous, she is incredibly helpful, and she takes care of EVERYTHING. If I had to do it all over again I would choose her in a heartbeat, and my mother who still lives I the area has already told me she wants to work with her when the time is right. 10 out of 10, highly recommend, Karen is AWESOME

ZillowVERIFIED Karen is a wonderful realtor and friend. She did such an amazing job with our house listing that we had a viewing appointment scheduled within an hour after it went live. We had an offer on our home over listing price within 72 hours. If you want a realtor who truly cares, Karen is that person. She went above and beyond to help us sell our home and to sell it fast.

ZillowVERIFIED My wife and I had moved out of state while our house was under contract, and our buyer was a first-timer. I never quite understood how absolutely critical a good realtor was until this experience. Karen coordinated everything. I am confident that if we'd chosen any other realtor, this contract would have fallen apart. I can't recommend Karen highly enough.

ZillowVERIFIED I cannot say enough about how wonderful our experience with Karen has been. Karens knowledge of the market and area were super helpful in pricing and prepping our home to sell quickly and at the price point that we wanted. Her relationships and business acumen were evident when dealing with the buyers and the sellers realtors, the lenders, and the contractors that she recommended for us. These relationships were clearly built on trust and respect which made our entire process go smoothly. When we hit a roadblock with our potential home buyers, what could have developed into a contentious situation, was immediately resolved by Karen. We still call and reach out to Karen as a trusted friend with questions and for her network of excellent contractors and businesses as we continue to make our new home perfect for us. We cant thank her enough for her knowledge and personal attention through our selling and buying process. Most importantly, we are proud to call her our friend.

ZillowVERIFIED Karen was recommended to us by one of her previous clients and I am so glad she was. We searched for a house for 2 years and Karen stayed with us after seeing house after house with us. As first time home owners, Karen was very realistic with us on what to expect and what to look for in a home. I would recommend Karen time and time again to anyone.

ZillowVERIFIED Karen was awesome to work with from beginning to end through the buying and selling process. When looking for a home, she took note of what we liked and made good suggestions (including the house we ended up buying). She was always responsive and able to get further information when needed, but never pushy (worked with her for about 6 months). We always felt she was doing what was best for us. When selling our home, Karen had great suggestions on things to do to increase appeal that weren't expensive. She created a full portfolio comparing our house to others to help suggest a starting price. She made the selling process easy by quickly and accurately explaining things. It was great having most of the signing forms completed online. I would definitely recommend Karen for buying and/or selling your home.

ZillowVERIFIED Karen guided us through the process of buying a new home and selling our old home as the Fed was starting to push rates up and cool off the housing market. Though it was a very nervy time, with Karen's excellent guidance we were able to take the right steps and make the right bid on the new house and get our old house sold. Though we enjoyed our old house, we are looking forward to many wonderful years in our amazing new house.

ZillowVERIFIED I had worked with Karen Schoenthal before, both with buying and selling, so when it came time to sell the family land, I chose her for her competent, unflappable skills and personality. Selling our beautiful and beloved family property was a deeply emotional experience. Karen counseled against rushing this process. She was present, listened, and available throughout the decision making. When we finally listed, the whole process except for closing was completed within days and at above asking price.

ZillowVERIFIED Karen made home buying such a treat. I had a USDA (rural) loan and we looked in the hottest time in recent memory to find a home. Karen happily took us all over the county until we fell in love with the right property and town.Thats not all, she seriously impressed me with her real estate knowledge. I felt like she fought for me to get me the best possible first home. I will be going back to Karen time and time again. I will also recommend any friend of mine to her. 5/5 from a happy home buyer!

She advised me as to what I should do and not do in making the homes more salable. She went way beyond what I would have expected in staging my homes. ZillowVERIFIED We have been in our house for a little more than a year now and still talk about how we lucked out with Karen as our realtor. As first-time homebuyers, we were total newbies to the real estate scene - which can be scary and overwhelming. Karen walked us through the process with careful guidance (from walk-throughs to inspections to negotiations), and anytime we had a question, she was prompt and informative. Her knowledge of the Metro East, especially in Edwardsville/Glen Carbon, is impeccable and she found the one we now call home -- in an amazing neighborhood that exceeds every expectation we had. (We would not have found it nor looked at it had it not been for Karen.) She was our champion putting our best interests first, and it always felt like we were her number one priority, even though she had many other clients. We cannot speak highly enough about our experience and Karen, especially for making a life-changing event truly special.
