ZillowVERIFIED Karen was "on it" from our first meeting until closing. It's obvious that she is an expert and gets results. In our case, the first offer came in two days after listing for significantly more than asking. From listing to closing Karen was there coaching, encouraging and seeing to all the details. Would we recommend her?.....Absolutely! Thank you Karen for being such a reliable, trustworthy advocate!

ZillowVERIFIED HIGHLY RECOMMEND!have now been working with Karen and her team for four years, buying, selling, and signing leases with her help. This team is, in a word, GRITTY. They did not back down when our deal was difficult, complicated, or when the timing of new information came at Friday night at 9pm. They were always on their game and willing to talk through their strategy. You name it, we saw it. This one had a lot of twists and turns, and we never would have made it to the end successfully without her professionalism and experience.I have an extremely high customer service standard, and Karen and her team set a new bar with their responsiveness, competence, and confidence in her strategy. We are extremely grateful to her and her team, and will recommend to anyone who wants to see their deal get to the finish line.

ZillowVERIFIED Karen Nelsen is a great negotiator and worked tirelessly on our behalf. She worked closely with us every step of the way. She also knows many professionals that helped us with additional inspections, quotations, and professional guidance. Karen and her team have the pulse of the local market at their fingertips. their communication throughout the buying process is phenomenal. Karen was referred to us when we moved to Morgan Hill and she did not disappoint. One of the inspections turned up a concern on a retaining wall. Within two days, Karen dispatched a structural engineer and a contractor to estimate the severity and the repair costs. Timing was especially important as our contingency period was short. This was critical in the final negotiations. In the end, it was not a major factor, but it did help better the price for us.If anyone is interested in purchasing or selling a property in the Morgan Hill area, I am not sure how you could do any better than the Karen Nelsen team.

ZillowVERIFIED Karen and her staff are the best! There were a few unexpected bumps in the road in the process of selling our house and Karen was always there to save the day. We were living out of state and only there intermittently so when something needed attention she always jumped in to provide a solution . Couldn't have done it without her and her staff.

ZillowVERIFIED Karen & team were fantastic from beginning to end. They walked us through the process (as first time buyers), were available around the clock to answer our questions and chased down every loose end to help us close in an amazing 45 days. Highly recommend for the care, support and attention to detail provided.

ZillowVERIFIED Karen and Stephanie are more than I can describe on this review. I wish I had more houses so they could help me all over again. They came in knowing exactly what to do and we're there to walk me through each step of the process. They explained exactly how they were going to sell my house and how they planned on getting me the most money out of my house. They listened attentively to my questions and made me feel comfortable with anything I wanted to ask them. I wouldn't look any farther than them!

ZillowVERIFIED We couldn't be happier and felt very fortunate to have a realtor like Karen. She was very professional and got our home sold higher and much sooner than expected! Our buyer suddenly and unexpectedly changed jobs during Escrow and created a problem with her lender. Karen stayed right on top of it and helped get it all resolved. My wife was worried but Karen calmed her and kept us informed. Karen was the best and we would highly, and I mean very highly, recommend her! We have already told some friends that if they decide to sell their home in Hollister to give Karen a call. Kudos to Karen and her staff! She was great!Darrell and Lori Unger

Karen's advise and knowledge of the local real estate market helped us sell for top dollar and to be the successful bidder on our new property. Completing the sales and subsequent documents was a breeze with Karens help. We will definitely call Karen the next time we are in the market.

ZillowVERIFIED I've been both a buyer and a seller with Karen. She is FLAT OUT FABULOUS!! She sold two homes for me at over asking price and QUICKLY--within 2 weeks. Her marketing, her responsiveness, her helpfulness and expertise are amazing. Most recently when a prequalified buyer could not close escrow on the purchase of my house due to owing undisclosed tax bills, Karen sprung into action to contact another buyer who had made an offer and sealed the deal with them-also selling at over asking price. I tell you SHE IS AWESOME!! but.....you know that already.

ZillowVERIFIED Karen is the absolute best! She helped my wife and I purchase our third home and we were extremely impressed with her market knowledge, her industry relationships, her responsiveness and her overall advice and input. She is very straightforward, laying out all the facts with no fluff which eased our decision making process. She helped us get an amazing home in an extremely competitive market, and on a very tight timeline. We will certainly use her again and refer our friends and family, as we know they will be in the best of hands.

ZillowVERIFIED We had the good fortune to have Karen Nelsen's advice and counsel on a recent real estate sale in Morgan Hill. The results were very positive, as was the service we received. We were very happy with the suggestions and assistance during the process of updating the property and preparing it for listing. We were able to get work done quickly and cost effectively using her extensive contact list of contractors and skilled craftspeople. She and her team assisted at every step. Definitely a successful and pleasant experience! Tony and Susan

ZillowVERIFIED Karen is an amazing agent with incredible knowledge of the market. Karen and her team worked with us over a long period of time due to our uncertainty of buying a house or land or buying at all. She was so patient and spent so much time supporting us through the whole process. There is nothing Karen didn't know or couldn't find out within a day. Her 30+ years of experience and her extensive list of resources to support the process (inspections, finances etc.) makes her a true leader.Probably the most impressive traits that I could list is her honesty and professionalism. I have worked with many agents and Karen by far exceeds all of them in all areas. You would not be disappointed in choosing Karen and her team, you wont find anyone that knows the area any better!

ZillowVERIFIED Karen and Shannon, her associate were outstanding - they were so professional in handling the sale of our house and went above and beyond in helping us take care of repairs, upgrades and maintenance, because we were living not in the area. They were constantly in touch, reminding us of deadlines and upcoming decisions we needed to make. We felt that Karen was extremely knowledgeable and down to earth, and knew when to leave decisions up to us, and gave her input when we needed it. We've gone through many real estate sales and purchases, and this was definitely the easiest, smoothest transaction yet!

ZillowVERIFIED We were the first-time home buyers, quite unfamiliar with the local real estate market and regulations. And we had quite strict requirements and tight budget. Karen and her staff had been very responsive to our needs and did their best to help us through the search and buying process. She would clarify any question we had and was by our side when we needed, but would never press us into any deal, even though it took us a while to settle on the house to buy. She also has impressive knowledge of the local real estate market and experience closing the deals, and that was very helpful. Thank you!

ZillowVERIFIED When looking for a rental property in the Gilroy area I was referred to Karen Nelsen. She showed us a property of hers that was a great fit for me, my wife and two young children. The home was just what we were looking for. We loved the place and agreed to rent it from her. She explained that the house was ours to rent and that her "word was her bond". She explained that we did not need to sign a paper lease at that time. After leaving with the verbal contract we began making arrangements for the move. We continued calling her over the next two weeks to organize the move and left message after message. She never returned our calls. We did not continue our home search because we had trusted in her word that we could rent the house and continued making plans. Finally, after two weeks she answered the phone and stated that she had changed her mind and rented it to someone else. We were left hanging without a place to live and movers already moving stuff out of our old house. It was a terrible situation. If she would have been honest with us this could have been avoided. It's funny that her website says she is "honest and professional". I would never in a million years trust Karen to buy or sell a home of mine.
