I first contacted Karen at the suggestion of many of my husband's co-workers who had all worked with her when finding their homes.We had a very low budget for the area we were interested in, but Karen managed to find us a lot of properties to view and never expected us to settle on quality due to our budget. When we didn't find anything in our location of interest, she suggested nearby communities that fit our needs and was very helpful in this aspect due to the fact that my family was relocating and therefore unfamiliar with the area.She was always available on our time, prompt, and responsive to our questions. She never held back or sugar coated anything throughout the process, but was always kind and respectful. She is very easy to talk to. Later on, we also worked with her husband Mike, who was also knowledgeable, kind, and approachable. They both saw us all the way through the process and went the extra mile time after time to ensure we weren't being given the run-around. I could go on and on, but I'll just end with this: I was DREADING buying a house before we even got started, as I had heard so many horror stories from friends. I am convinced that there are no two people I would rather have on my side than these. If I ever need to sell my house or purchase another in this area, I will be calling Karen.

The hardest part was when we have to fix some things based on the inspection result, but they took care of everything and we just need write the check for the handyman ( actually Mike did some of the fixing himself without charging us) It was an awesome experience working with them.

ZillowVERIFIED When I decided to sell my home in Cleveland, I didn't have much experience selling in the area so I first signed up with an agent whom I knew from other housing-related business experiences. The agent and his boss didnt know much about local market conditions nor did they appear to have any sound proposal on how to market the property effectively. Much worse, they were terribly unresponsive; I could keep calling for two weeks, leaving voicemail messages with no return call whatsoever. And who is talking about advice on technical aspects like which parts of the property need repair or how to best handle local government requirements etc.The obvious result was that the house was languishing on the market for months without a single showing or sometimes weeks went by without anybody inquiring about the property. The broker and his boss didnt seem to be bothered at all and had no clue how to rectify the situation and attract potential buyers. All of this changed when I discovered Karen. I'm not exaggerating when I'm rating her 5 star on all 4 areas of competence above. From beginning to end she tackled all aspects of the marketing and sale process skillfully and professionally. She possesses deep knowledge of the local housing market which she put to effective use while marketing the property, taking into account all factors which could affect the bottom line of the sale. She was on target with regard to pricing, listing the house exactly at the right amount which resulted in considerable showing traffic promptly after the launch of the listing.Perhaps best of all was her incredible responsiveness - she is simply fantastic in this area. Anytime I called or sent an email or text, she either took the call, emailed an immediate response or - if she was with another client or so - got back to me as soon as time permitted her. Never did it occur that a call or message of any sort went by without her quick acknowledgment or answer to a question or an arising issue. Karen also has outstanding negotiation skills which were on display when conducting the back and forth of the offers and counter-offers between me and the buyer and his agent. And besides all this, she is also very nice on a personal level and dealing with her was a pleasant and enjoyable experience.For conclusion, I have a simple statement to make on this subject. If you are looking to play around or waste time, you can pick any broker out there. But if youre serious about selling your home in the Cleveland area and are seeking a highly competent and smart broker who can sell your home in a reasonable amount of time at the right price, theres one address to turn to: Karen Helffrich.
