ZillowVERIFIEDWe worked with Karen to find our family home in a time where the real estate market is crazy. It took a long time and a lot of patience to find the right fit for our family. Karen was very understanding, patient, and never encouraged us to settle for less than what we were looking for. She did advise us on what she felt would or wouldn?t be a good investment for us, which was much appreciated. She gave us excellent guidance in the chaos of low supply, high demand, and unprecedented rising market prices. She enabled us to finally find a perfect fit for our family and purchase at under market value. We are so grateful for her expertise and are in love with our new home!

ZillowVERIFIED Karen was very professional, super friendly, and was able to accommodate my MANY last-minute requests to view newly listed homes (including one we happened to drive by and she convinced the owner to allow us to view without an appointment). She was so attuned to the needs of my house hunt, that she walked into one home and said this one feels like you. I purchased that home. I would highly recommend Karen Clark for any real estate needs you may have. Her experience, market knowledge, and voice of reason throughout made this a great experience for me from the beginning to the end!

ZillowVERIFIED Karen is a caring and genuine professional. I had some very special circumstances while trying to sell my home. She was helpful and understanding and very attentive to the needs of our family. I am convinced that I never could have made it thru the stressful process of selling our home without her. She is positively the best!

ZillowVERIFIED After having our home sit on the market for 6 months, we decided to switch realtors.... so glad we made that decision. Within one week, we noticed a complete transformation in how our property was being marketed. And shortly after that, we had multiple showings that ended in a contract. Thank you Karen with Brenton & Clark Realty!

ZillowVERIFIED When I started to look for homes, realtors, and lenders I was completely unsure of how the home-buying process went. I found Karen on Zillow as one of the top-rated agents in the area so I gave her a call. She responded to my voicemail within an hour and was very polite and connected me with a lender. Once everything was set up with the lender I contacted Karen and told her the areas I was looking in and she was very familiar with the area and began sending me homes via email. Due to her extensive knowledge of the area she was able to narrow down our search to only a handful of homes from which I chose three. I scheduled a day to go see the homes and she was available very quickly; within 2-3 days. Unfortunately, the first home we saw a disaster on the inside so we moved on to the second home. I placed a contract on this home that week however due to the seller the home fell through. The day Karen found out the home fell through she called me and was willing to show the third home THE SAME DAY! Karen actually came out in the blizzard that Maryland had in January, 2016 to show me this home! That says A LOT about a person. Long story short Karen placed the contract on the home and we settled about 45 days later with one problem that was no fault of anyones other than the builder. Karen was a HUGE help through the home-buying process. She guided me every single step of the way and handled basically everything without me needing to do much at all. Karen was very responsive to texts and phone calls as well. Due to Karens amazing performance my parents will be using her if they choose to move into the area as well. I would recommend Karen to anyone who is buying or selling a home!! Thank you SO SO much Karen! - Travis

ZillowVERIFIED Karen Clark went over and beyond of what that I believed a realtor would do. She was very understanding and heartfelt to the situation and our family and made the process very easy for us. She made the property and house available to those interested in showing and kept me very informed of what was going on. And Zillow showed me that it was being viewed and what other properties were selling for as we tried to keep it in the other comps being showed. Karen was always available with information and to answer all my questions. Brenton and Clark Realty is very reliable and trustworthy.

ZillowVERIFIED I knew we were in a good place from the first time I called Karen, and she picked up her phone on the 1st ring. Thorough and knowledgeable of the area and the process, she made what can be an unpleasant process, completely painless. Her ability to network with other agents was also a big plus and should certainly be considered. I am always a fan of knowledgeable professionals, so I am a fan of Karens!

ZillowVERIFIED I contacted Karen back in December because I was interested in purchasing a home. I had been looking for almost a year and had worked with several agents and had been disappointed. Karen did not disappoint! Karen took the time to understand what I was looking for and was quick to send me several listing she thought would meet my needs. She was quick and responsive in getting me in to see the properties that I was interested. When I finally found a home that I wanted to put an offer on she was clear with what I can expect and helped guide me through the process. I put my offer in on 12/29/2014. They countered...I accepted...we were under contract/pending sale. From there you would think it would have been smooth sailing...but not with this house. It seemed to be one problem after another. From the basement getting flooded, to a broken pipe, to not getting unwinterized because of the extreme low temperatures, etc, etc, etc. But the biggest problem was the listing agent of the property. She did not make it seem like the sale of the house was a priority. But even more - she was so unresponsive in replying to text messages, emails or phone calls. Karen stayed on top of the situation and kept me informed about all of her attempts to keep the sale moving along. At one point I felt like I should back out, but it took me so long to find a home that I loved, I just couldnt do it. Finally, after getting the listing agents broker involved the sale moved forward and I finally closed on my home in April 2015. Karen was there with me through it all. I dont think I would have maintained my sanity if I had to go through the process with anyone else.

ZillowVERIFIED Karen recently represented my wife and I in the purchase of a new home. She was patient, understanding and extremely knowledgable of the area and the process. It was an absolute pleasure having her guide us along the way. I might also add that she just represented my son and his new wife on the purchase of their first home. In fact their experience was so positive we contacted her for our search.

ZillowVERIFIED I met Karen during a very difficult time in my life. I was a single parent looking for a rental and she was the agent for the first house I looked at. Due to no fault of hers, the deal fell through. She realized I needed to find a place quickly and continued to help me even though I wasn?t a client of hers. In this day and age this is just unheard of that a real estate agent would work so hard for me, when I wasn?t selling, buying nor did I have a contract with her to be my agent. As the deals kept falling through we were frustrated and disappointed, but she continued to help me look. I even switched gears thinking that buying might be an option. She referred me to a great lender and sent me real estate listings. After much indecisiveness trying to decide whether to rent or buy, Karen helped me in whatever way she could, quickly switching gears from buying and back to renting. She finally found me a rental via some friends of hers, which made the transition even easier. I am newly separated with two kids and she was very kind and compassionate to the changes going on in our lives. She was always very supportive, friendly and positive and she made me feel like she not only cared about the business relationship, but also the personal relationship she was making. She was quick to respond to all of my requests and always worked around my schedule, never being too busy to do whatever she could to make it easy on me. When we were setting up our new services for the house she even offered to meet our propane delivery truck knowing that I worked out of the area, as well as adding my name to her satellite service in order to save me $100. In fact, the day before we moved in we were notified that our delivery of propane had to be made immediately because there wasn?t enough propane to get us through the weekend we moved. When I found this out I was very worried, but she arranged everything and the propane was delivered without me having to be there. This was a last minute crisis that I didn?t need on top of everything else happening, but she took care of everything, leaving me with peace of mind. I don?t know of anyone else who would go the extra mile like she did on many occasions. I would highly recommend Karen to anyone for their real estate needs. I will never use anyone else because I know that Karen will make the process personal and wonderful.

ZillowVERIFIED Karen Clark is hands down the best Agent Ive had to date. Her transparency throughout the process keeps you informed, even if its not in her favor. The honesty and determination to find you a home speaks volumes. After being out bid & falling out of contract she knew I wanted to live in a specific location. She drove through the complex and called every FSBO sign in the windows. Not many agents would go this extra mile because that means less commission or even risking being cut out of the deal. She is 100% on your side. I highly recommend her expertise. Her drive and tenacity will sell or buy any home !!!

ZillowVERIFIED I had my home on the market for 2 years with another realtor, I then switched to Karen and she had my home sold in 6 months! My property was a quality build home with 40 acres of land. It was a tough market, but Karen made it happen! She will be my next realtor when buying or selling!
