ZillowVERIFIED Karen did a wonderful job even with all of the roadblocks and difficulties with the seller and the banks, she was able to keep the process moving and assure me that there was light at then end of the tunnel. She was great to work with checking in on my side of the process and pushing the seller and attorneys when I was not able to get a response. She was able to obtain a purchase amount lower than the asking price keeping my finances right where I needed them to be. Thank you Karen for all of your hard work and dedication. I appreciated all of your help and will definitely recommend you in the future! Thank you, Breanne

ZillowVERIFIED Karen was thorough, communicative, knowledgable, responsive and shouldered the burden where the other parties did not. She did most of the heavy lifting throughout the purchase process, which was extensive and more complicated than normal. She found contractors and helped get estimates for pre- purchase repairs and negotiations. She followed up promptly with issues as they arose. Karen is friendly and easy to work with and smoothed many of the bumps along the way. I very much appreciated working with her and recommend her highly.

Every aspect of working with Karen (and John, her husband and teammate), has been a pleasure! Thank you, Karen, for so greatly simplifying a long and complicated transition!

ZillowVERIFIED Karen helped make the home buying process simple and stress free. She was communicative, on call every step of the way and super understanding. When we couldn't see our choices in person because we were buying remotely, she went out and took videos and pictures with commentary. Karen really cared that we got the best house in our price range. We were extremely lucky to have such an amazing, pleasant and professional agent!

ZillowVERIFIED Went to look at one house the next day after talking to her the evening before. Karen asked some questions and got a sense of what we were looking for. Then, she said since we were in the area, did we want to look at another house that had just been listed as well- and we did. And we bought it!!! Offer was placed and the sellers accepted the next day. She was fast and professional and I'd use her again and again!! Highly recommend!!!

ZillowVERIFIED Karen is one of the most friendly and patient professionals that I've ever worked with as a client, in the real-estate industry. She follows through with what she says, and seems to never sleep when assisting a client. She was a great help with getting the job done, when the paperwork was needed, she takes the time to clarify wording within the documents, and follows up on the progress or status for her client, to ensure that the process is smooth and not complicated. I would refer Karen everytime I learn of someone looking for a great Real-estate agent. Thank you Karen Cammarata.

She always showed the property with an outstanding attitude ensuring to point out all the benefits of the property as well as the proximity of local industries. Karen kept us informed each time the property was shown.Any time we had questions Karen was readily available to answer them. ZillowVERIFIED Karen was extremely helpful with the sale of our home. She provided referrals for local home inspectors for water tests and lawn service. Karen was in contact with me throughout the process and was a wealth of knowledge. During this very difficult year with Covid, she was the go betweeen and "Got it Done!" She is someone I now consider a "friend in the business" and I will continue to refer others to her for her expertise, knowledge and friendly service. She is such a wonderful person to work with.

ZillowVERIFIED I found Karen when my sweetheart and I were thinking of purchasing a larger working farm. Our plans changed, and we ended up shopping for (and eventually buying) a more modest property that will allow us to grow into our dreams. Karen stuck with us through all of our uncertainty, and her enthusiasm never waned through MANY property showings until we found our home.Karen was patient (with us) and persistent (with the sellers agent) and thorough (with everyone) during the closing process, all while offering her wisdom and humor to these first-time home buyers.Karen has my highest recommendation as an agent, and I still consider her a friend.

ZillowVERIFIED Karen is a professional with roots in the community. Prospective buyers should not overlook how valuable that is-- She had useful contacts on hand every step of the way. Thanks to her long experience, she was never stumped by the questions I had as a first time buyer. As we looked at potential homes, Karen was realistic about the possibilities and costs associated with changes and fixes discussed in the course of looking at properties. Even though much of the negotiation happened during her vacation, she was communicative and available. Right up to closing, Karen was available to coach us through the process and answer questions. When I mentioned having a fireplace inspected during our final walkthrough, Karen gave me the number of a local hearth and fireplace company off the top of her head--this woman is a walking, talking phone book full of contacts vetted with two decades of experience. I will certainly recommend friends and family to her in the future.

ZillowVERIFIED Karen was a pleasure from day one.She had a few properties lined up for me to look at when I told her what I wanted. Karen made the process very easy. She walked me through everything step by step. Whenever I had a question Karen took my call or called me back promptly. She also communicated via email if that worked better for me. Karen submitted my offer and the seller excepted. It was smooth sailing after that. I'm very pleased how things worked out.

ZillowVERIFIED I first contacted Karen while still in Wa state. She responded immediately and answered a ton of questions and helped immediately when my brother and sister in law arrived in my before me and needed help finding housing while purchasing their house. She was kind and helpful at every turn. In fact I bought a fantastic chicken house from her and her husband right after completing the purchase of my beautiful new house. I highly recommend Karen to anyone buying or selling. It was a huge relief to be able to trust any answer she gave and know that whatever request I made she followed through on. I'm incredibly grateful for everything!

My husband and I were not impressed at all with the lackadaisical approach that was taken with the sale of our home. There was a lack of communication and follow through, with follow through appropriately occurring when prompted repeatedly. We had to push to even get open houses and it seems that the only time communication or feedback started occurring was when we threatened to cancel our relationship. And even then it faded out shortly after. In the beginning we were clear on the urgency in selling and our expectations and the ball was dropped significantly. But they made sure to keep their bonus we had offered for a successful sale (our idea), although the definition of successful was not met in our opinion. I would not recommend...

ZillowVERIFIED After being designated the executor of my brother's estate, I was responsible for selling 14 multi-family homes. I approached Karen Cammarata after receiving a number of recommendations from her associates. I am very happy with the decision I made. Based on my experience with her, I have found her to be a professional and a highly motivated realtor. She is "approachable", very knowledgeable about the housing market, and has always responded to my phone calls in a prompt and timely fashion. ZillowVERIFIED Karen was referred to my husband and I by our mortgage lender when we decided we wanted to start looking at houses a little less than a year ago. Karen was always sending us listings of houses in the areas that we were interested in and that were in our price range. She also was very responsive and helpful when it came to any questions that we had. Any time that we wanted to go look at a house she was quick in making sure we were able to go look at it. When we went to the showing of the houses she made sure to point out any thing that might cause the house to not be approved based on our USDA loan. After we finally decided on the house we wanted to purchase, she made sure we understood the documentation that we had to sign and made the process as easy as possible. She also worked with our mortgage lender to make sure everything was going as planned and in a timely manner. Karen was not only helpful but she was also friendly and approachable. Even after buying our house, she will ask how everything is going and offer any help that may be needed. I would recommend Karen as a realtor to anyone that lives in Chenango county area.
