We never actually met Karen but worked with Madison and others to sell our property. We were originally drawn to the business model of having separate agents assigned for the sell and purchase sides of the transaction. However, there were at least 8 different people involved in the transaction with no one person managing the overall process which became confusing and frustrating at times. The person assigned to close the sale of our home, Maria, was knowledgeable but advocated more for the buyer than for us as the seller.

ZillowVERIFIED Alyssa is the best realtor I have ever worked with. I happened to stumble across her while looking for real estate in the Denver area. From the minute I was put in contact with her she has been exceptional. First, she has been hyper responsive. I never waited more then 5-10 minutes for a text response, regardless of what the ask was or what time it was.Second, she ALWAYS made me feel like my own best interests were her best interests, I was never questioning that she was pushing me in a direction based on a commission. Third, she is incredibly knowledgable. When we were evaluating comps when I was considering an offer, she created a list of all the recent comps in the area and went through each one in excruciating detail elaborating why she thought they supported or did not support the asking price for the property I was looking at. There was no hand wavy "Yeah, I think this is a good price". It was a well formed opinion backed by a plethora of data.Oh, and I need to mention that she did this all while 8 months pregnant. We made the very hard decision to sell our home, and chose Karen and her team because of Karen's wealth of experience and knowledge of the Boulder real estate market, her energy and enthusiasm, and the fantastic team of realtors and and other professionals she employs. Within a week of signing with The Bernardi Group, they had the house assessed by a professional staging company, and had arranged for videography, and still and aerial photography. We were under contract eight days (!) after listing, and Karen and her team took care of all of the niggling details to make sure that the contract made it to a final sale. It was impressive, to say the least.Now...given that the sale of our home happened so quickly, we were under some pressure to find a new house. Enter Megan Evoe from the buy-side team at Bernardi. Mark and I were immediately sold on her energy, intellect, knowledge of the market, and sheer will. When that woman sets her mind to something, it happens! We gave her a tight geographic area that we wanted to relocate to but there weren't many homes on the market. Megan worked her connections to get us into two homes before they listed and secured the first showing slot for the home we ultimately purchased. The follow-up from Megan and her assistant Elliot to make sure all of the events that needed to happen between offer and close stayed on track was extraordinarilly helpful.

Lucky for us Madison became our point person and handled everything from the first appointment to our super smooth closing. Madison is absolutely wonderful to work with. Its like having a friend on the aEURoeinsideaEUR? that is working for you. She really cares about her clients as well as the community and neighborhood she live in. Our condo was what we worried would be a very complex selling situation, with over 50% being commercially zoned, and an active lawsuit in the HOA. We were terrified, but Madison, who was more like Athena, went to battle for us with all aspects of the complex situation. Her knowledge and experience became immediately evident as she knew several local lenders off the top of her head that would lend on the property even though it didn't qualify for conventional financing. In regards to the lawsuit she quickly determined that wasn't something to worry about and explained why. When the offers started coming in, she was a negotiation warrior and got us multiple excellent offers and re offers, we sold for well over full price, with no inspections or loan contingencies. Rachel and Dawn also pitched in with logistics and everyone was always readily available, up to speed on our situation, and well in control. If you need to sell a home in Boulder, The Bernardi Group is the way to go! Ask for Madison!

We were a bit hesitant about listing our home in a very small mountain community during winter of 2018/19.
