ZillowVERIFIEDKalani is excellent to work with. He is very knowledgeable about every aspect of buying or selling your home. He gave us pointers on how to stage the home to show it at its best, and offered constant tips and ideas to help us through the entire process. There were several complications that arose in our selling of our home (no fault of his), and he responded in a timely manner to any and all of our questions and needs. Kalani was enthusiastic and always had a smile whenever we met and made us feel at ease during our selling process. Needless to say the sale of our home was completed efficiently and expeditiously.

ZillowVERIFIED Kalani patiently explained the entire real estate process to all six of us, as needed. He negotiated a great deal for everyone concerned, both buyer and seller. His pictures emphasized the best of our house and he went above and beyond in the middle of this pandemic to make sure everybody had what they needed to make a decision.

ZillowVERIFIED Kalani has been an absolute godsend during our rental process. After learning our tenants were vacating and scrambling to find new ones, and worrying about finances during the current health crisis, Kalani went above and beyond to help us not only find a replacement tenant, but help coordinate all the details with ease and professionalism. He responded immediately to our request for help, even in these busy and uncertain times. He had the insight, resources and determination to get the job done efficiently and successfully, resulting in us finding a tenant in literally 8 days. One key factor that makes him a superior realtor is his knowledge of the industry and relevant laws, and he willingly shared this information with us to our benefit.

ZillowVERIFIED My wife and I started looking for our first home and then started working with Kalani. Zillow set up our first meeting. We had some requirements that we needed to have and he found us our home and in the price range we wanted! He took us to see lots of houses but not more than we wanted. He kept the search moving but did not rush us. He was also very friendly, easy to talk to, and willing to work with us on the items we needed in a house. Overall it was wonderful working with him.

ZillowVERIFIED Kalani just helped my girlfriend and I purchase our first home, a condo in Hamden. From the beginning, he was patient and friendly while we looked for the right place. Once we found it, he was extremely helpful in navigating the mortgage and closing process. Hes also remarkably responsive. Texts and emails were always very promptly replied to. When I got an email from the bank letting me know we were clear to close, I received a congratulatory text message from Kalani within a few hours, even though he and his wife were on vacation in India!I'm very happy that we worked with Kalani and Id highly recommend him to anyone looking to purchase a home, especially first-time buyers like us.

ZillowVERIFIED Kalani was absolutely awesome. Working with him made my first-time home-buying process possible. He had a strategy from the start for success and was relentless on the follow-up. He was instrumental in getting my loan through the gates to approval, following up on open items and chasing down the loan folks to make sure they were staying on top of it so that we could finally close. He was more than responsive, he adjusted to my schedule to make calls and viewings work around my hours, and enabled my decisions with data and guidance, but never pushing me in a direction I did not want to go. Highly recommend!

ZillowVERIFIED Kalani helped me in a lot of ways, from watching the sale of other houses in this complex, being honest about the complex and its crumbling foundation issues, to following up on items that the seller did not attend to in a most timely manner, and helped me rid of some of the items in the house that were not supposed to be left behind at the walk-thru. Was timely at answering text messages and emails send to him. Overall, Kalani is a very friendly and personable person to deal with. Definitely a 5-star rating from me! Thank you!

ZillowVERIFIED Kalani was a complete professional and made the whole process simple and easy. He was extremely responsive via text and email. We had a minor issue at the closing and we didnt have to once stand up for ourselves. Kalani took the lead and stayed with it the whole time. He is a true partner in the home buying process. He will also be very honest and up front and I cant overstate how important that is to me.

ZillowVERIFIED Kalani was great to work with throughout the entire process- very responsive and professional! He kept things on track to close on time, following up on the contract time lines and reminding me to prompt the mortgage company as needed to prevent slipping deadlines! In addition to being knowledgeable about real estate Kalani helped with contacts and resources in the area! Thanks Kalani!

ZillowVERIFIED We worked with Kalani on a successful buy of our first CT home back in June 2014, very nice experience. This was done completely remote for us, much of the time I was traveling overseas. He was on top of everything, very responsive, smooth, and informative of what exactly was coming next. This is our second CT home here closed in April 2018 and same exact thing, very very smooth. He connected us with several other places to ensure we had made an informed decision to buy. The closing was made in person this time with all running perfectly smooth. We 100% recommend Kalani for handling our business.Sincerely, The Hook Family.

ZillowVERIFIED Kalani is not a normal real estate agent. He is someone who looks at you more like a person rather than a customer. He will take the time to listen to your needs, wants, issues, and any other items you want to tell him, gather it up, and really try to find your ideal place that fits in your criteria. When I was having an issue trying to find a place due to the time. Kalani really steps up and walked though step by step the process of buying a home from a real estate agents point of view. He really informed me of any issues that may arise when looking tat the property to show much much investment I would need to make when buying a house/condo. He also took the time to really find me a property. When things changed, he understood my situation and gave me space to think without harassing me everyday. As I said, Kalani, looks to you as a person and understands what you are going through when buying a house. He realizes that you are making an investment on your future and wants to help get you there as easily as possible.Unfortunately I decided that I was not ready to buy a house but when I am ready he will be my number 1 agent to go to.

ZillowVERIFIED I'm so grateful that Kalani was representing me on the purchase of this home. There were a few issues with the process and if it weren't for Kalani's professionalism, network and knowledge, this deal would have fallen through. You WANT this realtor on your side. His large network of lenders, repair technicians & overall general knowledge of the field came in very handy with our tight schedule. Everyone seemed to be a phone call away for him and given how quickly he was able to make things happen, I realized how deep his supporting network is and that many people find working with him easy. Kalani was very professional, organized, on top of the process and understands that you're buying a home, not just a place to live. You don't want to go with anyone else.

ZillowVERIFIED Kalani was awesome in helping me find my 1st home. I work 2 full time jobs and kalani had no problem working around my very tight schedule. Kalani is very informative. As it is my 1st home there was lots i did not know. Kalani made me feel comfortable and at ease with every step of the process. If i was not comfortable with something. We did not proceed until i was. I could not have asked for a more skilled and informative realtor. A realtor down to earth that does not talk over your head. I would suggest anyone needing a realtor look no further then kalani. Would give kalani more then the 5 stars allowed if i could. There was a lot i wanted in my home and thanks to kalani i found exactly what i wanted.

ZillowVERIFIED Kalani helped us purchase two homes, and assisted with the sale of my in laws home. I cannot express how patient and knowledgeable he is about the whole process. I always suggest him to everyone looking to buy or sell. Even though it's been a few years, I always call him with questions, and he has given advice many times without hesitation. The last service I had was 2012, but he has been my realtor since 2005.

ZillowVERIFIED My parents have known Kalani probably for at least 10 years through using his services to help them purchase investment property. He's always looking out for new listings and notifying you immediately if he finds something in the criteria that you're searching for so that you can be one of the first to go view the property. He makes the buying process as painless and easy as possible, always willing to answer any questions you have and giving you his honest opinion.Recently I had the pleasure of working with him directly. He helped me with finding a tenant for my rental property. Within one month, he found me a good candidate and we were able to sign the lease. I really trust him with his judgment and opinions because with his many years of expertise, he can really tell who will be a good tenant and who might cause trouble in the future. He makes the rental process as easy as can be because everything can be signed online. Since it was my first time working with him, I had an email of at least 10 questions. He set aside time for me and we were able to go through each one of my questions, one by one. He was patient and thorough. I really appreciate all his help in the process and highly recommend him to everyone.

Kalani helped me to see the variety of property available and provided information on pricing and taxes in different areas. His knowledge of neighborhoods and features of different houses helped me to narrow my search. He also developed a profile for what I was looking for which made the showings more valuable over time.

ZillowVERIFIED First would like to say if I can give Kalani six stars or more I would!! Kalani has been hands down the absolute BEST real estate agent I have ever known and worked with! If we could geographically, my husband and I would want to ONLY work with Kalani for any of our future purchase/sale of property(ies) for the rest of our lives and not ANYONE else! Kalani is truly a Renaissance Real Estate Agent! His proactivity, diligence, thoughtfulness, and willingness to help us sell in a very difficult market was truly beyond amazing! He not only acted as our trusting real estate agent, but he also went way out of his normal agent responsibilities to help as pool man, and even on our day of closing, he became our contractor as he purchased and installed rain gutter spouts with his own hands so it wouldnt further delay closing! When I found out, it was all already done! I am beyond grateful! So many things came up to get my house ready and during sale, and Kalani has been such a huge help through every step, since we live out of state. I would very highly recommend Kalani to ANYONE who wants to buy or sell without any hesitation! THANK YOU so much for all you have done Kalani!!

ZillowVERIFIED Kalani Ladd has been an absolute pleasure to work with! Being a first time homebuyer, I needed as much support and knowledge as possible. He was there for me every step of the way. Kalani was able to take my "must haves" on my home wish list and in the end got me into the home I love. Through his professionalism, honesty, knowledge, and patience- he truly made the home buying process a great experience. Kalani was able to refer me to an amazing mortgage lender and attorney as well (which saved me a lot of time...and they were great to work with) I am pleased to recommend Kalani Ladd to anyone looking to buy or sell their home.

ZillowVERIFIED I trust and have so much faith in Kalani's superb skills, that I've referred him to friends AND family in the 4+ years I've known and conducted business with him. (I have bought and sold multiple investment properties through Kalani.) Kalani knows his market, is prompt with his (e-mail and phone) responses, and is one of those (rare) individuals who goes above-and-beyond! When you hand off a property to Kalani, just stand back and watch the magic happen; you truly don't have to worry about a thing. If I could choose more than 5 stars in this review, I would. I highly recommend Kalani Ladd!!!

ZillowVERIFIED Have now used Kalani in the extremely successful purchase and sale of 3 homes over the span of 4 years and cannot speak highly enough of his services. The first purchase happened to be our first home and Kalani must have fielded a thousand questions by the time we closed. As high maintenance as I'm sure we were, Kalani's patience, responsiveness & professionalism was exceptional. Fast forward to the sale of that house and purchase of another (which included a Hubbards Clause) and we immediately knew who we wanted to use to ensure the process went as smoothly and beneficial to us as possible. W/ a new home picked out and significant pressure to sell, Kalani came in, staged our home, posted professional quality pictures, held an open house (which found our buyer) and maximized our return on that investment in the exact amount of time we needed him to. All the while arranging EVERYTHING for the purchase of the new home. All we had to do was sign on the dotted line. We have referred him to several friends and family who have had success with him as well and will continue to refer him to anyone else who plans on buying or selling a home. I hope we do not need his services in the near future, but if we do - we will be tracking him down whether he's in the state, out of the country or on another planet. He is the best the industry has to offer.

ZillowVERIFIED I cannot say enough good things about Kalani. Even though my house didn't sell it is not because Kalani didn't try. Kalani went above and beyond what I expected from a realtor. He not only listed the house, but did several open houses as well as advertising it. Kalani always kept in communication with me (which my last realtor didn't) and answered all my emails and calls. I'm sure that if I could afford to lower my selling price, Kalani would have sold it. I am taking the house off the market for a while but will definitely call Kalani when it's time to re-list it.

ZillowVERIFIED Kalani was a pleasure to work with! Because we hadn't sold a house in 27 years, Kalani walked through every room, including the basement, with me and gave us great ideas about staging our home. We had a contract within a couple of weeks of listing! Unfortunately, that contract and the next contract didn't pan out. But they were great offers during a horrible winter season! Because we were relocating due to a company move, it was important to us to sell our home as soon as possible. Kalani created a wonderful listing that brought lots of traffic our way. He was very knowledgable with the area, comparable listings and thinking outside the box. Whenever we got down about things, he was right there lifting our spirits. In addition, if we ever needed his help with anything, he was there as well. And Kalani was willing to do whatever it took to move closer to a deal. Our third offer did pan out and we were very happy with it. I highly recommend Kalani Ladd as an agent for the purchase or sale of your home.

ZillowVERIFIED We contacted Kalani Ladd to buy our new home in Storrs, CT. He was absolutely on the ball. He is experienced and knows how to explain next steps. In our case, we were buying out of state, so needed this type of step-by-step. Kalani was very quick to point out our options and next thing to work on. There are many steps and different people to make contact with. Kalani was key in connecting us with the financial folks, insurance agent, attorneys, and other key people to accomplish the appraisals, etc. We put a lot of time and detailed effort during the whole process. Kalani could see and appreciate this. Kalani personally handled some key items to ensure a smooth process and paperwork flow. We highly recommend Kalani and his team. Very nice to work with.

ZillowVERIFIED I have been in the real estate industry for 35 years. I seen a lot of Realtors come and go. However, the agents who have weathered the storm of "bad times" as we have experienced in recent years and have come out of the slump better than when they went in are few and far between. Kalani is one of these agents and it is all do to his knowledge, responsiveness , and attention to detail. One of the few I would highly recommend.Jack Cooley
