Before I met Justin, I admit I was wary of real estate agents. They always seemed to just show up with a key, but had absolutely no knowledge of the home. I also felt as a young first time home buyer, no one took me seriously. From the very beginning, Justin was extremely active in finding places and scheduling showings. When showing me houses, he was able to give me great information (e.g this water heater looks old and will probably need replacing, this stain may be water damage, etc.). Throughout the whole process, Justin was extremely responsive, always responding to texts and emails within the hour. He was never pushy and genuinely wanted to get me the right home, not just make a quick sale. He walked me through the whole process and ultimately ended up getting me a great deal- my home immediately appraised for more than I paid, gaining me amazing equity. Justin also has great negotiating skills. He was able to get me a private showing prior to the scheduled open house and convince the sellers to cancel the open house and sell to me (and I'm very confident I would have lost the house in a bidding war otherwise). I will absolutely use Justin again- both as a seller and a buyer. Whenever friends or family are looking to buy or sell, I recommend Justin.

I think it was purely a stroke of good luck that I stumbled upon Justin out of so many other competing local real estate agents. My wife and I would not have purchased our dream home if not for Justins masterful bargaining and negotiation skills. Despite this hot sellers market he was still able to negotiate a very fair purchase price for us. We were so happy with the transaction that we also had Justin list our primary residence. Justin did an incredible job marketing our home. It went under agreement on the first open house at FULL asking price. I truly believe this was due in large part to his ability to achieve critical mass and stir up the necessary amount of interest in our home. During the sale process we hit a couple of major road blocks. But here is where Justins expertise really shined. He worked so confidently and tirelessly negotiating back and forth with both parties, buyer/seller, to keep the deal alive and the entire time always staying so positive. I honestly think any agent with lesser experience could not have saved this deal. He went above and beyond to make the deal a great success and we couldnt be happier. I highly recommend Justin to anyone looking for a fantastic buy/seller agent.

My husband and I started the home buying process with Justin after using someone else who was not reliable. Justin was quick to get us in to see homes and was very knowledgeable about different parts of the house. He was honest and made sure we were getting a home that met our expectations. We were close to closing on a home and had some last minute issues, at not fault of our own and had to start back to square one. Justin did not give up on us, we were out viewing new properties within the week. Found a bigger home, that met our expectations and then some. He put us in contact with a great Attorney from the beginning and also a great Mortgage Company later on in the process. The entire team was great, hands on and worked to get us through the process. They were easily accessible after hours, they even fought for us to get the best deal. They were compassionate, reliable and very helpful. After a few months of being in the home buying process we closed on our first home June 24th, 2016!!!! Without Justin and his team, we would have given up!! Thank you from all of us!!!

I had been putting off selling my apartment building for a few years because I didn't have the time or frankly the cash to invest in a lawyer, accountant, appraiser, and all the other little things that add up when you are dealing with a commercial real estate sale. By pure luck I was introduced to Justin and it turned out to be the best thing that could have happened to me. He had his team do all the legwork and paperwork so all I had to do was sign my name. Justin Rollo came highly recommended to me by my first realtor, who was a dream, so I had no reservations choosing to work with him to sell my condo, and am glad I did.I bought my unit in Arlington a few years back, but when life throws these curveballs at you (e.g., fiance in Baltimore who's there for medical residency), you just have to be prepare yourself and hope that your teammates have your back. And Justin did! Truthfully, I threw at Justin a few curveballs myself: (1) I wanted to list in the fall. The late fall. Like, end of October fall. Thank goodness it was mild! (2) I wanted to list at a slightly higher price than what he initially suggested (and higher than any other comparable unit in my building had ever sold for). Thank goodness it was still a buyers' market and Justin was so good about marketing and holding open houses and showings (read: like every other day). And (3) Though I didn't really throw this one at him, there was initially an offer that came in and ultimately backed out at the last minute, and yet Justin powered through and he found me my ideal buyer. Full cash, list price, no contingencies. Basically, a home run.Justin was always reachable via email, text, or phone, and kept me in the loop re: all sorts of things. He takes the time to familiarize himself with the the areas in which he works (e.g., Arlington en bloc, brick condo buildings in the town, comparable units specifically in my building, etc.) He went above and beyond, and can navigate even the most prickly of interpersonal challenges... which he did on more than a handful of occasions. I'm really glad and very grateful that he acted as a buffer to shield me from some of the more annoying nitty-gritty things, and that he always acted on looked out for my best interest, even in terms of financing up until the last minute (e.g., when my buyer wanted to delay the closing and he let my lawyer know that since there were no financial contingencies that it was only fair for my buyer to be responsible for those days' costs post-original closing date). If you're looking for a no-nonsense but people-oriented realtor, I would not hesitate to contact Justin for your buying or selling needs. If my man and I ever make it back to Boston for good, I know who I'm calling!

I worked with Justin for over a year to prepare to sell my condo. We were first time home buyers and had absolutely NO idea what we were doing. It was an intimidating process to say the least, but we will be forever grateful that we had someone like Justin around to help us with it. He was always available to us, and returned all calls and emails immediately (day or night). It felt like we were the only people he was working for and that we were important to him, which was truly a comforting feeling at such a stressful time. He also had an uncanny knack for explaining the most complex things so we could both understand everything that was going on at all times. We had an absolutely terrible experience with our lender, and at one point we thought we were going to lose the house. Justin was really great at keeping it all together and making it work. Overall he was just a great guy to work with, and I trusted that he had our best interests in mind during the entire process. He even offered to come and help us with some of the renovation work after we moved in! I know that if we ever are in need of a new home in the future, he will be the first guy I call. When I first contacted Justin I thought I wasn't really ready to purchase a home. It's everyone's dream to be a home owner, and I knew one day I'd accomplised that. I can guarantee you that Justin was a BIG part in my decision making. It all started a couple of years ago when I had e-mailed Justin about properties, not really being realistic how possible it is to persue a dream. Since my first contact, Justin had always followed up with me and making sure I was taken care of. After meeting with him we looked at a few condos in Jamaica Plain and Roslindale. The funny thing is, my dream has always been to purchase a house with a backyard, not a condo, but we were looking for condos thinking it would be more convenient for me and my family. Justin called me and said he found the perfect home for us. And he was right! We bought a house with a huge backyard and we are so happy to have had him alongside with us. Justin was always on time for every appointment. I feel so comfortable being with him because his knowledge and expertise was what I needed to build confidence. I felt like Justin was buying a house for him, because he was so honest and dedicated, and that made me feel so special. I will always be grateful for what he has done. As I previously stated, I would have not bought a home if it wasn't for him. When you look for realtors, there are tons out there. I know that it is always easy to just give all five starts, but I honestly mean it. Justin was so amazing to work with. My husband and I are new to this house buying process and had no idea where to begin. I figured I would be clueless through the entire process, but working with Justin really taught me so much. Everytime I was confused about something he explained it perfectly so that I understood and knew what I was getting into. He knew a ton about the area we were buying and was very honest with us about pricing and negotiation. One of my biggest pet peeves is when you send someone an email and wait days to hear back. With Justin I got an immediate response. I am talking minutes not even hours. A few times I felt semi scared about the process because it seemed so overwhelming but Justin was there the entire time calming me down and explaining each step. When it came time to the offer he sat with us to talk about what we were comfortable with and when the counter came back he was honest about what he thought was best. He even explained stuff about the house that the inspector mentioned when we were with him so he knew a ton about contracting too. In all honesty I will definitely be recommending Justin to any of my friends who start looking for homes.
