Erik had the best level-headed approach with pointing out the significant items of the house and whether they were in good repair or needed attention. He let us decide if we liked a home but gave honest feedback and encouraged us to think about things we hadn't considered. He is very knowledgeable of the housing market and gives you a good sense of what you would be getting into for potential repairs/inspection. I would recommend him to absolutely anyone that is serious about looking for a home and wants to close the deal. We hope to never move again, but would 1000% use him again.After buying our new house, we knew we had to enlist Erik in selling our old house. Erik helped point us in the right direction for areas that needed attention and would get the most return for investment. We were able to accept an offer for well above asking the same weekend we listed and closed within a month from accepted offer. We could not have had better results with anyone else!

Most importantly, he listens, and because he does, he is able to help you sort out what seems to fit your needs. He is also straight forward and shares with you any concerns he might have with a given property, which is very valuable. One of the things we liked the most is when Erik would ask us to share three likes and dislikes of each property, immediately after seeing it. That was a reality check for us, putting things into perspective right then and there. It was also a guideline to assist on the selection of the properties we would see next. Long story short, we know Erik is extremely busy, but, believe or not, he made us feel like we were his only clients - and "that" says it all. He went through all the contract and house information thoroughly to make sure I understood it all before putting any offer in.He was always honest in his opinion and would point out all the possible issues with a house and would say to walk away when it wasn't worth it. Erik always had my best interest in mind, never trying to push just to get a sale.He was also very quick to respond, when I had questions and would keep me updated every time there was information on a offer I put in. My now ex-wife and I were going through a divorce and it was a difficult situation for everyone. Matt was professional and very understanding about our situation. His knowledge of our area was extensive and he even described our condo to me over the phone before he had even been in it. He was very patient with us as it took a while to agree on the terms of the divorce, and it took a while longer to get the condo ready for sale. However, as soon as it was, he managed to get 12 showings in the first two days it was on market. Out of that, we received four solid offers, all of which were higher than the price we were asking. All of them pre- qualified buyers. From that, we ended up selling for $5000 more than we were asking. I highly recommend Matt to anyone looking for a knowledgeable real estate professional.
