My exposure to selling homes began in the mid 70's, my mother sold for Edina Realty for many years; little did I know that would lead me here today. My Grandfather was the Douglas County abstracter for many years while he raised his 4 children, his youngest, my father Neil. We always had a place at the lake, so I considered myself a summer resident kid. My dad returned to Alexandria at retirement. He and my mother owned and operated the Summer Place Resort on Lake Le Homme Dieu. My mother passed away in 1990 and my dad remarried Betty Stroh, they together for 20+years now have retired to a life of leisure that includes many friends, family, golf and various activities. I share this as I am not a native Alexandrian, I only became a full time resident in 2005, I have a long time great love for this area and consider it my home. I am proud to be a part of the community.
