ZillowVERIFIED I was looking to buy an investment property in Wareham, MA and, because I live overseas, I needed a Buyer's Agent who I could really trust. The property I ultimately purchased was a short sale and the transaction was a bit complicated. The best thing I can say about Judy is that throughout the entire purchase process, I felt like she was working for me, and only me. She is very knowledgeable about the short sale process, was tireless in pursuing all that was required from the less-than-diligent Listing Agent as well as from the bank, creditors, and lawyers on the other side of the transaction. She was reachable at all hours, worked weekends on this transaction, gave great advice on the physical state of the property, helped with referrals to lenders, contractors, etc. - without being pushy about those referrals, and was willing to walk away at any point in the process if I wasn't happy.The thing is, I WAS happy ... and still am. I highly recommend Judy and I plan to work with her again. She provided me with prospective tenants and helped me thru the process of selecting my tenants by providing me with all the necessary information I needed to make an infomed decision. I am extremely happy with these tenants. After several years of renewing their lease, Ms. Chauvin did all the paperwork for the renewals and secured the signatures, I have recently signed a 3 year lease with these same tenants.Also, I was interested in purchasing another condo in the same complex and Ms. Chauvin researched for me and found a condo on a short sale list. She oversaw/handled all the background paperwork necessary for this type of trasaction, educated me on the process, kept me informed on the progress of the deal and we closed with out incident last year. We had taken our sick friend into our home so he didnt have to live out his days in a nursing home. We had initially contacted Judy Chauvin when we considered renting the house to help pay for Scooters living expenses, but then decided it was best to try to sell it instead. This was a particular challenge as we were attempting to do this long distance, with us in Connecticut and the house in Cape Cod. Judy helped make the process very manageable.First off, Judy was very sensitive to the fact that we had taken on the huge responsibility of caring for a very sick friend in addition to the responsibility of helping to sell his house 225 miles away.With Judys help, we were able to clean out the house inexpensively, find an owner for Scooters car, find a reputable and fairly priced company to install the new septic system, and install the required smoke detectors. Judy helped us price the house accurately so it could sell quickly. We remember Judy being at the house on a weekend with her husband to iron out some difficulties. Our friend, Scooter, passed away 1.5 years ago. We know he would have wanted us to acknowledge Judys efforts and the extra mile she was always willing to go.Judy, thank you does not quite say it adequately.
