ZillowVERIFIEDThe Josh Shapiro Team of Douglas Realty, LLC is hands down the best realty company I have used! Initially, I used another realtor to list a house left to me from an estate, which had several downsides. First, although the house sat level on the land, the house was on a fairly steep hillside, which made it a bear to cut the grass and shovel snow. Secondly, it was in far northern Harford County, which is kind of in the middle of nowhere. Although an hour's drive from Baltimore using I-83 and roughly 1.5 hours to Baltimore using I-95, it was quite a drive for the average buyer who worked in the Baltimore/DC area. The initial realtor took basic photographs, and not much marketing was done on his part. In roughly two months of listing with the initial realtor, he had only two showings and many excuses. Needless to say, his services were no longer needed. I then found Josh Shapiro. He came up promptly, and his photographer took dynamic photos and even utilized a drone for an interior tour. I was thoroughly impressed. Within the first week of listing by Josh, there were roughly 5 or so showings, and they kept coming. The house had great feedback; however, the geographic location and hill turned many away. Josh and his team did not give up and worked even harder with open houses. After every showing, Josh personally kept me informed of all feedback and offers. When the accepted offer came in, the home inspection requested a few fixes. Josh was able to assist me in getting these corrected, as I was out of the country for a month, and with his help, I had everything completed by closing day. Josh is a true professional who takes pride in his work. He and his team kept me informed at every stage of the sale/showing.
