ZillowVERIFIEDJorge, aka George, was our realtor / real estate agent for my moms Trust here in San Diego County. He found us, rather than the other way around, one day when we were doing some work at the house, and he happened to be in the neighborhood. He had another client a few doors down, and had also sold another home on the street recently. We talked to him at length that day and ultimately, I hired him for the job. One concern that I had was that my moms house was in a Trust and my estate attorney cautioned me to find an agent with experience with Trust home sales. As it turned out, the home that Jorge was representing a few doors down was also in a Trust, and hed had experience with others in the past as well. That was good news. His initial assessment of the value of the home in the current market came in pretty close. We actually got a little more than his estimate, which was good. Jorge answered all my questions up front and as the process progressed. He always followed up with me promptly if not immediately. He also provided timely updates and shared each incoming offer with me very quickly. He understood that as Trustee, I had obligations to follow as a fiduciary, and he always kept those in mind. His recommendations and suggestions were good ones, and at no point did I feel pressured about anything. I would be quick to enlist him again when the need arises and recommend him to anyone. In fact, Ive already done so to a neighbor whose family will be needing to sell a home soon.

Upon finding a property of interest in downtown San Diego, I was connected by Zillow to realtor Jorge Castellon. I didnt like that unit but Jorge identified another in the desired building within days (august 2020), my offer was accepted thenaEUR| I changed my mind at the end of the contingency period. OuchaEUR| Id found a (more expensive) unit in that building I liked better online. Texted Jorge very early morning explaining that I wanted to see that unit asap and probably recant on the initial offer. To his tribute, he didnt jump on the idea of a bigger commission; he emphasized the positive aspects of the current offer on the table while working to schedule visiting the other unit. I liked that he is always responsive to communication, no matter when. The offer I made there was accepted and we cancelled the other unit - I could see that Jorge didnt relish having to break the news to the other realtor which I respect (it meant to me that he has ethics). Both the seller and his realtor were super lame, delaying the cash closing that they initially wanted fast as they failed to produce necessarily documents. Jorge remained calm, determined, handling tasks the other realtor usually handles in an effort to get things done. Overall I was impressed by Jorge Castellon.

ZillowVERIFIED We met Jorge through Brittany who is my client and his assistant. I told her that we werent happy with our relator and would like to meet Jorge. Basically, we wanted to sell our townhouse and buy a house in San Diego Unified school district. We also wanted a yard. They came so prepared to the meeting in our house. They already handpicked properties and went through them. I was impressed with that because most realtors will add you to the mailing list and you get all the listings, you go through them and tell them which ones you want to see. We needed to time it right where we sell and buy at the same time to avoid renting in between. This is stressful but Jorge handled it very well. He was always accommodating whenever we wanted to see a property. Even when he went out of town, he made sure his friend ( works at the same company) was available.Jorge was so knowledgeable about the areas we were interested in which helped a lot. Whenever we wanted to put an offer on a house, he will run comps to see if that house is worth the asking price. Then he will give us an advice to proceed or not. He was always communicating with the other realtors and following up with them. Again he was just on top of things. We sold our house within a week. The photos his photographer took for our place were AMAZING. made us rethink and keep it lol He even referred us to this nice amazing cleaning lady for what he called it aEURoe deep cleaning aEURoe. So the house looked super nice for the open house and whoever wanted to see it later. We finally found our dream home that checked all the boxes. They were on top of things and showed it to us the day it hit the market!. San Diegos market isnt easy for buyers because of the low inventory. Which creates a war whenever a nice property hits the market. He was aggressive, we made the offer the day it hit the market full price and we go it. Him and our amazing loan officer, Desiree Lowe made a miracle happen to close both escrows one day apart. They would have closed on the same day , which almost doesnt happen often, except the buyers had delay at their end paperwork wise. We highly recommend Jorge and Brittany. He did this by holding many open houses and really emphasizing the property features as well as the neighborhood hot spots. Subsequently, I had him represent me in buying my next condo. He did a good job getting me a great price below list. I am a perpetual lowballer and sometimes Jorge talks me out of super low ball offers so that would be my only sensitive area but I do realize we all need a voice of reason on these deals sometimes.

ZillowVERIFIED I am an Air Force veteran and this was my first home buying experience. Jorge and his team were amazing to say the least. They kept me in the loop the entire process, which helped ease my anxiety, and answered all of my, probably, very stupid questions. I knew what I wanted and wasnt willing to settle for less. Jorge is very professional; his knowledge of the area is unsurpassed, he stuck with me and persevered with my demanding requirements. We looked at quite a few places and he found me exactly what I was looking for. Since I was using a VA loan there were quite a few things that needed to be done such as getting the entire complex VA approved, which can be no easy feat. I never once felt as though Jorge was trying to deceive me or just sell me something to get me off his case load. He gave me his honest opinion of each property/area and pointed out possible defects that I would not have noticed. I believe Jorge and his team go way above and beyond for their clients and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to buy a home.

ZillowVERIFIED Jorge sold my husband and me our first home. He was great to work with and even stayed in touch with us after we closed escrow. The condo we bought was a flip that he did and there were several upgrades done prior to it going on the market. We were one of the first potential buyers to see the condo and fell in love with it right off the bat. While my husband dealt with all the transactional stuff when it came to buying the condo, Jorge was also very responsive to me when I had asked about all the improvements that were made in the event we ever needed to get more materials and paint to do touch ups. He gave me all the necessary info and went above and beyond when I needed to get additional flooring by helping me locate exactly where to buy it. Not only is he very professional as a real estate agent, he's also overall a really nice guy who cares about his clients and his work. The funny part is we weren't even his client, we just bought the condo from him, so it goes to show his great work ethic.

ZillowVERIFIED Jorge is a fantastic real estate agent in downtown San Diego. Jorge helped me find my dream apartment after a whole year of searching. I had very specific needs and did not want to compromise. I trust Jorge because he did not try to make me buy just to go on with the next customer. We looked at over 50 different units until mine came to the market. He never pushed me to do something I was not comfortable with. We were usually one of the first people to see any apartment. He was on top of all the new listings and constantly sending me new units.
