We chose him because he had the detailed knowledge of the New Brunswick market and gave us invaluable advice regarding price and regulations. Local knowledge is absolutely critical for no surprises. We asked for honesty and he was very gentle about unpleasant news, but always told us what we needed to know. He is an excellent, thorough communicator. We moved out of state before the house was sold and he stopped by regularly to check on the property. He did many extras for us to help the property sell smoothly. On a 1-10 scale, he is definitely an 11. I have no hesitation in recommending him without reservations.

ZillowVERIFIED We worked with Jon to purchase our first home in 2021-2022; he was recommended to us by a colleague at our work. In this very competitive market, having Jon as our realtor was extremely advantageous. When touring homes, Jon always gave very helpful tidbits of information and was able to answer any questions that we had. He was always very responsive to our messages and would quickly set up home tours that we requested. He supported us every single step of the way and was never too busy to help us when we had questions or concerns (which we had many given we were first time buyers). When it came time for offers, Jon gave us great advice to help make our offer as competitive as possible (besides the sales price, for example through contingencies, etc) and also made us feel comfortable (did not push us to offer any amount). Since Jon has been a realtor for a very long time in the area, we were able to use some of his suggested contacts for inspections etc, all of which we were satisfied with. Overall we are extremely happy that we had the opportunity to work with Jon and we would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a realtor!

ZillowVERIFIED Stay away unless you want to get yelled at! We were moving from a long distance away and came to town for a week to find a million and a half dollar house to buy. Pretty much a guaranteed buy. He knew we were coming from across the country and were under time constraints. We gave him a long list of houses and areas we wanted to see and which days we were free. He didn?t seem to want to show us the houses and kept coming up with excuses that didn?t make sense. (We don?t think he wanted to do the work, but he wouldn?t just tell us that ahead of time). The morning we were driving to meet him at a house we clicked on the link he had just sent us, then 15min later he sent another link saying to use this address instead. I called him because the 2 addresses were in opposite directions and we had gone 20min in the wrong direction. When I asked him about it, first he said he couldn?t hear me (we were in the car with our 2 kids so then I spoke louder so he could hear me), then he told me I couldn?t read and follow directions and that he didn?t give me 2 different links, and that he would no longer show us the houses because he didn?t like my tone of voice (mind you he couldn?t complain about anything I said because I hadn?t said anything wrong!) I asked if we could just see the 4 houses for that morning that we had appointments for and he refused. That put us in a bind because we had such limited time, and it affected the people trying to sell their houses. I have no doubt he will accuse me of all kinds of things for posting this, so all of our interactions were written (except for the phone call where he fired me -before I could even say much) and I am happy to provide the emails and texts. We have since found a great realtor who was more than happy to set everything up for us. It was a world of difference between the two people.

I called Jon & our home in Edison was listed the next day. Lesson 1...dont sell without a Real Estate Professional. I would recommend Jon for a variety of reasons, his expertise, professionalism, and his ability to guide us through the selling process. Even during the COVID-19 era, we were able to get traffic in our home. Jon kept us informed and when we finally had offers, 4 within a 24 hour period, he still kept calm.
