ZillowVERIFIEDImmediately after receiving orders to Charleston, SC, my boyfriend and I started saving houses that we liked. I started to get overwhelmed with the entire process, so I asked a friend who had recently moved to the area if she would recommend her realtor. she had nothing but incredibly nice things to say about Jonathan, so I decided to reach out to him and ask for help. Jonathan always responded in a timely manner and helped bring my anxiety about finding a good house and moving across the country down. I flew out two separate times to look at houses. Honestly, I found our house during the first trip, but it was just a little too early to make an offer, since our move date had been pushed back. The 2nd time I flew out, the house I had loved from the first trip was still on the market and I knew it was the one for us. Jonathan knew an offer had been made on the house and came up with an offer that he thought the sellers would take. Unfortunately, my boyfriend could not travel with me, since his schedule at work was extremely busy, so he never saw the house in person until we drove down with my car completely packed, ready to close for it. Jonathan called my boyfriend, explained the offer and why it was a good one and helped ease my boyfriend's anxiety about buying a house unseen. When we came down to close, Jonathan met us at the house for a final walk through and told us what we should expect at the closing - a TON of paperwork and signing. After closing, Jonathan told us that he would send out a reminder about how to take care of a certain tax thing that had to do with our house at the beginning of the year; a reminder that saved us a lot of money. After moving in, I went to change the thermostat, didn't cut the power and accidentally crossed wires, so that the thermostat didn't work at all. I asked Jonathan for a recommendation for someone who could help and he responded right away. The guy came and fixed the circuit breaker in a timely manner and was completely professional. The cherry on top was at Christmas, when Jonathan dropped chocolates and cookies off at our new house, a tradition that he says will last as long as we're in the house! Overall, I would recommend Jonathan to everyone who asks for a realtor down here.

I had a tight deadline(2 months) that I wanted to move into a home and stop paying over priced apartments in the area. The search started very slow but started picking up with time. He is very responsive and at times had me concerned if he was even sleeping. The best thing you can do is with as much detail as possible, show and tell him what your dream homes looks like. If you do not like his selections, tell him. He seems to be able to take the honest truth. Long story long, we final found a really nice house that overall was cheaper than renting an apartment and accomplished this within my time frame.
