ZillowVERIFIED I can't say enough good things about Jonathan. Hubby and I were living in Pennsylvania at the time and we were looking to buy a rental property in a 1031 exchange. He knew all the rules and helped us meet them all. He even helped us find a property manager. A year later we decided to move to the Charleston area so we hired him again. Living out of town in a hot market can be a real challenge but Jonathan handled it so well. He emailed us listings that met our parameters every day. If we were interested in a listing, Jonathan would personally do a walk-through with his phone so we could see the house and hear his comments. We had some problems with our sale in PA that necessitated changes in our settlement date here and Jonathan handled it without a hitch. Working with Jonathan was absolutely the best part of our move.

Jon and his team or really knowledgable people were superb. They kept me informed every step of the way. They were knowledgable about comps in the area. I believe I received a very fair price for my condo and the money was in my account within 24 hours of closing. I did not have to travel to attend the closing and all this was performed during the Covid 19 epidemic.

While genuinely a great person, Jonathan also possesses the acumen to run the quantitative analysis that will keep you from overpaying for your next house. We had more than one home we loved that was overpriced for the street. One home was overpriced by as much as 20%. Jonathan would run the avg. list price to the avg sales price for the street, neighborhood, and town. We could see when homes sold and for how much per square foot. Mount Pleasant is a sellers market but buyers should beware because many sellers are fishing to get prices well above the market. Jonathan protected us and helped us find the perfect house and even helped us negotiate an almost 7% price reduction plus blinds and a refrigerator into a new construction home. I highly recommend working with Jonathan and his team!

With so many amazing neighborhoods around town, it was very difficult to decide where we would plant our flag, but Jon was extremely helpful with the 'sniff test' by taking us around to pretty much every part of Mt. P and filling us in on the pros and cons. That experience and local knowledge proved to be the most critical in our decision-making process.
