Just before making the drive across the country from New York to California, I remember my friends & family gathering that night by the car to say goodbye. I recognized pivotal moments in my life that happened, where somehow, I always believed would come to pass. If I just kept fighting the good fight and believed. To work so hard for years and pray to not lose sight of the goal. From the time I was a child well into adulthood, I would still wonder. Will these moments ever happen to me, to us? Time slowed down when first seeing the love of my life and future wife Rachel, walk in and out of the room before having a chance to introduce myself. The world stopping when learning I would become a father and having the fear of such tremendous responsibility melt away as I watched the most beautiful sunset. That night closed yet another chapter in my life only to wake up to the most gorgeous sunrise the next day to reveal my future. My wife and I had been patiently waiting for the right opportunity to buy a home, saving. All the while watching our children grow, and getting older ourselves, wed wonder if it would ever really happen in this short life. Then one day, the house of our dreams became available, and even then, we didnt think we had a shot and would be easily outbid. I couldnt sleep that night. We were new to this world and had no clue what we needed to do to buy a home. Walking through the open house without any hope of really being able to own it. Rachel still showed an excitement on where things would go in each room. We desperately needed guidance and our dear friend Jon Perez showed what a serious realtor he was. He helped us with a viable strategy on how to be the top contender for that house. Jon and I worked together long ago when I first moved to California and remained friends over the years. He and his beautiful wife came to celebrate our wedding. We trusted him and he did not disappoint. Within days we became one of two offers to be considered. This is our third home and he is, by far, the most competent real estate agent I have ever worked with. A lot of agents think it's about charm and being personable, and although Jon is most definitely charming and personable, I challenge you to find someone as well versed and up to date on the legalities that is the ridiculousness that has become the home buying experience. From the moment we saw our dream home, Jon went in with intent and strategy that allowed us to be the chosen family for a highly desirable home. And no, it wasn't because we had the highest bid, because we didn't. That's how good he is. Then of course came Escrow and the intensity that comes with it. I decided to go to open houses and aEURoeinterviewaEUR? realtors there. I thought it would be easy to find someone that had a good grasp of the industry and had would have my best interest in mind. I thought my game plan was a good one but after a few months of not finding someone I decided to ask my friends for recommendations. One of my friends told me they used Jon Perez when they bought their house and were very pleased with his service. He was very professional, knowledgeable and easy going (buying a house is stressful enough so I dont need someone adding to it!). It was an easy decision to hire him. Without going into the details, his knowledge in the industry most likely helped save me money when the dream home was found. This is the most expensive purchase most people will ever make in their lifetime. ZillowVERIFIED Jon was outstanding! As a bit of background, he was referred to us a loooooong time ago- over a decade ago- and helped us try to find our first house. It didn't work out for reasons that were absolutely not his fault, and we kept renting for far longer than we ever wanted to. But we liked him, so when we were ready to jump back in we gave him a call and he was happy to help us resume our hunt. Jon met with us to go through the process and help us prioritize our needs and wants in a house. Then we started looking. Our very first time out we found a place that my whole family immediately liked. Jon gave us excellent advice about not just the bidding price but also what other terms we should include to make our offer as attractive as possible. After a few nerve-wracking days (and from what I understand a good amount of competition) we got word that our bid was accepted! But Jon's work didn't end there. ZillowVERIFIED Jon did an amazing job working with me on selling my house. His picture is all over Anaheim hills if you do a search for brokers and for good reason! Covid did a number on the market, but even with that he got an amazing price for my house, and handled all the bumps with calm and professional responses. Even when buyers were being, well buyers, he worked through it, dealing with banks, agents and me, listening to everyone and coming to a fair solution. He handled cleaning, painting, staging and who knows what else to make it happen, and communicated with me every step of the way. Nice personal touches like video messages, constant texting and calls kept me in the loop but not in the weeds. Seven thumbs up!

ZillowVERIFIED Jon Perez is not only an amazing realtor but also an amazing person! When my husband lost his job last year I asked Jon to come by my house to tell me what we would need to do to fix up the house to sell it for the most money. Knowing Jon a bit thru networking he knew I loved my neighborhood. This was his response: Debbie I know you love that house and your neighborhood you shouldnt move. He asked me what my husband did for a living because maybe he had a contact that could get him a job. I reminded him he was a realtor and that he sold houses. I told him and low and behold he did have a contact. He got my husband and this gentlemen together. This gentleman was able to get my husband some temporary work until he found a permanent job. We are still living in our same house. This is the kind of man he is. Honest, humble and a real caring person. Definitely not like many of the other realtors I work with.
