This was our 3rd home purchase over the last 25 years. We've always purchased a new house and dealt with the builders sells agent and our buyers agent, honestly, served what seemed to be a minor role in those previous purchases.We were all over the board in our search for this house. We looked at old houses with big lots, some new construction, and some 70-yr-old homes that need a complete renovation. John was patient and supportive in our search.We landed on picking a lot and model for construction in a new neighborhood. When several issues came up during the building process, John helped us through the termination of the contract and start our search over again.... It was no small feat. John's knowledge of the area and of construction practices, helped us to avoid some serious headaches.John patiently started again the search process with us. When we were ready to put an offer on the house we purchased, he masterfully negotiated some upgrades to the home that sealed the deal.After this process, I have a new and profound appreciation of the role of a buyers agent, and can honestly say John is the person you need at your side when making such a big purchase.

ZillowVERIFIED Fortunately for us, we found John online and chose him b/c of his reviews and they were not wrong! He is one of the most professional agents we have worked with and knows what he is doing. He patiently showed us about 15 homes or more while we were trying to but from out of state. He NEVER was pushy, or brash, just kind, considerate and helped when asked about a property. With his engineer background, he has a keen eye what to look for in respect to issues with a home and will gently point those out to you if you do not see them. We highly recommend John for your next real estate sale or purchase!

ZillowVERIFIED It was an absolute pleasure working with John. It sounds cliche, but John really does care about his clients. He clearly shows it by his actions. He's incredibly responsive to questions, inquiries, and even general thoughts. I've texted him even on the weekends and get responses almost immediately. He's on top of things in terms of finding compatible houses, and sets up walk-throughs at the drop of a hat. His expertise is very valuable in terms of what he sees in a property in both its condition and its value. Once under contract, he was extremely quick at getting everything ordered, the inspections, fix requests, all that. If you're serious about buying a home, I can't recommend anyone more than John.

ZillowVERIFIED I moved out of state and decided to rent my house out but it was hard to keep an eye on it and the renters were not working out. So I decided to sell it instead. After evicting the renters I knew I had to sell it quick. I couldn't afford to make house payments on this house and my new address too. I had never sold a house before and didn't know what to expect or who to call but I did know that since my house was financed through the government (USDA) that it was going to be a little harder on the agent that tried to sell it because the government requires a little more paperwork. I ask some friends who to get to help me sell it and took their suggestions. After trying a couple of different one's with no avail, months had gone by and the house payment got way behind to the point I feared foreclosure. My credit was being ruined and I was panicking. I looked in the phone book and found Diamond Realty and called them and they turned me over to John Wiltshire. He met me at the property and we sat at the picnic table outside and he went over everything with me in such thorough and professional way, making sure I understood everything and not being in a hurry to do so which I appreciated since I am a little slow sometimes. After meeting with him I started feeling like maybe there was hope after all. I certainly didn't have that experience with the other two agents. John got me more out of the house than I ever expected and in a very timely manner. He was very professional when it came to negotiating prices and other things involved with selling the house and keeping my nerves at ease at the same time. I had to borrow $9000.00 to keep the house payments made till the house sold which had already ran out and gotten behind again prior to meeting and hiring John. I thought I would never get enough out of the house to pay that $9000.00 back, but at least I would break even and pay that back in payments after the house was sold and at least my credit would be saved. But to my suprise not only did John get me enough to pay off the house, but enough to pay off the $9000.00 too and still had quite a lump sum left over after that. It turned out better than I could ever imagined all thanks to John. Without John Wiltshire as my agent my credit would have surely been ruined, I wouldn't be able to help my son who is 15 years old and is going to be wanting a car soon and college. Instead the government would have foreclosed on me and garnished my wages for the amount left owing after they auctioned the house off and my credit would have been ruined. I am 51 years old and couldn't afford to let that happen and thanks to John it didn't. I would highly recomind John to anyone trying to sell a house or trying to buy a house and anything else pertaining to real estate. I feel that God knew the position I was in and who I needed to help me and he guided me to the best their is. I will always be greatfull to God for sending me to John Wiltshire and to John for the wonderful work he did for me,
