ZillowVERIFIED The Rice Team helped me with the sale my townhouse in 2020, so when I decided to sell my townhouse, they were the first people I called. They walked me through the selling process, and they did not disappoint. The Rice Team provided best practices, break down of each step and gave professional advice to help protect me as the seller. And helped me price my listening RIGHT. It was competitive enough yet mindful of the market. My townhome sold in 1 day.

ZillowVERIFIED We found John and Theresa through HomeLight. They were the first ones to respond to our inquiry to be connected with realtors, and that responsiveness was something that we could rely on throughout our experience with them as agents for both the purchase of our new home and the sale of our existing home. When making an offer on our eventual new home, they took the time to do extensive research on the home and the local market, giving us the information to make the right offer on the home. They continued to be a resource during contingency, offering helpful advice during further negotiations. With the sale of our existing home, they again provided helpful market research to help us determine a fair and attractive listing price. They also gave us honest, constructive feedback as to how to prepare our home for listing on the market and subsequent showings. In the end, our home sold quickly, and John and Theresa continued to help through the closing process on the sale of our home. We highly recommend John and Theresa.

ZillowVERIFIED Without hesitation my fiancA(C) and I hands down recommend John and Theresa to anyone and everyone! They are so personable yet professional. They are very flexible as we work very odd hours and were only really available to see houses on the weekends or on weekdays late at night and they made sure to be available literally anytime we asked. They are incredibly knowledgeable about homes and finishes (flooring, countertops, etc.) They are also very patient and do in depth research to make sure you find your perfect home. Words cannot express how absolutely wonderful it was to work with these two. If you decide to choose John and Theresa as your realtors you will not only have the perfect pair of realtors but you will also have two new friends!

ZillowVERIFIED We first started with John and Theresa when we were moving back to Chicago from Colorado. I found them in Zillow and messaged them. I received an immediate response and they helped get the ball rolling. Being in a different state is super hard so we relied alot on them for information and details. They were quick to figure out our must haves. Within the 1st month of us being in Chicago, they found us our dream home. They helped make this experience the smoothest and best experience ever.

ZillowVERIFIED If I could give more than five stars, I would, because John and Theresa are truly phenomenal real estate agents. They are honest and trustworthy. I felt completely comfortable taking their advice because I knew they were being sincere. Both, John and Theresa were available anytime which included evenings and weekends. Both are truly "on call" for us and made us feel important and valued as clients. Marcos and I were first-time home buyers and navigating those waters was very challenging. Working with them was like having family with us during every showing and that was really priceless for us. Each showing John was there to guide us back and suggested I look at multiple homes in multiple neighborhoods before I committed to anything. He made more work for himself to ensure that I understood what I was buying. He took every opportunity to point out structural as well as cosmetic problems with every house we saw (things that we would have never even noticed) and even steered me away from looking at particular houses because he felt that the structural integrity had issues. He really put our best interest in front of his own and took the time to find us the right fit. That is a really rare quality these days and John and Theresa are exceptional people to work with. I recommend the Rice Team to anyone who is looking to sell and by a home. They made purchasing a home a smooth and easy process. John and Theresa thank you for everything you have done for us.

ZillowVERIFIED Our home was located near an interstate highway and still had new and less expensive homes being built all around us. It was very bad timing for us. John and Theresa were very positive and worked so hard to get our home seen and out in front of perspective buyers. We had several contracts fall through due to issues that the buyers had with financing and sale of their properties. John and Theresa remained very positive and stuck with us and expertly guided us to the successful sale of our home. There is no way we would have been successful without their expertise and dedication to the sale of our house. We most strongly recommend them to anyone seeking to sell their home.

ZillowVERIFIED We were first time home buyers and were mostly clueless about the home buying process. Right off the bat, John and Theresa promised us that they would hold our hands throughout the entire process. They did not disappoint. They answered all of our questions, explained everything and guided us through every step of the process. You can trust that these guys are out there working for you and will not try to steer you a certain direction for their own personal gain. They are both very friendly and accommodating. John is also very knowledgeable and will not hesitate to point out things that he think might be wrong with the house, needs fixing and what you can do to fix it. It's almost like having an inspector with you while looking at properties. I definitely recommend these guys to anyone looking to buy a house.

ZillowVERIFIED In May of 2013, I contacted John & Theresa as I was moving to the area. Back then I was naive about the home buying process and Theresa gave me some great advice. Fast forward to a few months ago when my husband and I were looking for a home as first-time home buyers. Thankfully Theresa remembered me, and helped us in our search. John & Theresa are a stellar team, we really meshed well with them and it helped us in the house hunting process. We saw 10 houses that weekend and after house #4, we had found "the one". John & Theresa were there to help us through the home buying process, from helping us with the offer and counteroffers, the inspection, as well as keeping us up to date on our closing. They "held our hands" through the process as buying a home for the first time can be a scary and overwhelming experience. They also helped to recommend an awesome team of a mortgage lender and a real estate attorney to make the process easy and painless. It may be a few years before we sell this new home, but when we do, we know we'll be calling John & Theresa to help us list it!

ZillowVERIFIED John and Theresa were amazing realtors. This is our second time working with them. They made our experience easy and enjoyable. They know everything and filled in all the pieces for us. We ended the experience with more knowledge than we expected. We stayed in contact the whole experience and they found the perfect place for us that had all the things we asked for and was in our price range. We were up against another buyer both times we were trying to buy a place and we won the place both times. They are honest and the best people to work with. I highly recommend using john and theresa. Its nice having a male to work with the guy and having a females opinion and expertise too. Five stars!!!!

ZillowVERIFIED They sold my place in less than 1 day. What more can I say ! John was there for us any time. Anyone would be lucky to have them as their agents. John actually met any necessary people for inspections or appts so that I didn't have to miss work. He also went over and swept the floors for me, so that the new owner would come into a clean house for her first time. I found him on google and it was obviously the best agent I could have asked for.

ZillowVERIFIED John & Theresa Rice are a perfect team! Our lease was coming to an end; things where starting to get a little stressful with scammers and the quality of most apartments were not something that we wanted to call home. My roommate and I are in our early 20s not knowing much about proprieties and what to look for, but they guided us every step of the way. They worked with our schedules, so we were both able to come see the place. They walked us threw the condo while they explained things to us. They where honest about everything, and gave us great advice. We told them all are credentials and what we wanted out of our budget. They found everything we wanted and more! We are absolutely in love with our new place. I will defiantly be passing their business card out to anyone searching for a new place to call home.

ZillowVERIFIED I highly recommend Real Estate Brokers John & Theresa Rice for several reasons. They were instrumental in assisting my mother sell her home in Palos Hills, IL and they did an outstanding job. John and Theresa listed, sold and closed my mothers home from listing to closing in 45 days. My mother and I had enough trust in John & Theresa to have them handle both the list and sale sides of the transactions. As dual agents, they took great care and respected both parties during the entire process. John & Theresa were trustworthy, very knowledgeable about the local real estate market conditions and always replied quickly to emails and phone calls.
