He encouraged us to use his preferred attorney and title company, promising that he would help offset legal fees after a previous deal fell through. At closing, the attorney denied any such agreement and charged us anyway. The situation was awkward and stressful. The agent later admitted the situation and promised to personally reimburse us $1,000aEUR"but two years later, that payment has never been made. In addition, during the process of deciding on the home we ultimately purchased, we were told that sidewalk maintenance, including lawn care and snow removal, would be handled by the township. We were also told that the agent himself lived in the same community. After living here for two years, we have found that this information was not accurate, and these responsibilities are actually handled by homeowners. Overall, this experience was stressful and frustrating. We strongly recommend that future buyers verify all information independently, get everything in writing, and be cautious!

ZillowVERIFIED I'm excited to share the tremendous experience we had working with John Tereby and his relocation team. I was referred to John by a friend and setup a meeting with him. He came to our home and reviewed how his team works the strategies/methods they follow and gave us a deep dive into the real estate market in Mercer county. Once we decided to move forward we worked with John and his team to get our house ready to sell. We got assistance on how to unclutter our home and stage it in the best way possible. We setup each room to ensure high quality photos and videos. They also took exceptional drone footage that highlighted our property and surrounding area. We relied on John to determine when to list the house and what to set the asking price at. When the time came to put our house on the market the process went like this. We listed our house on a Wednesday. We had 2 days of open house on Saturday and Sunday. There were plenty of visitors each day over the weekend. John informed all of the realtors to have best and final offers in by Tuesday at noon. On Wednesday we met with John to find we had 10 offers at or over asking price. We chose a buyer and sold our home for 50K over asking. John was always reachable during the entire process. He recommended a lawyer for us to use for closing and put us in touch with a repairman to fix 2 minor issues. We could not be happier with working with John and his team. Zohan, real-estate agent from John Tereby's team, was our buyer's agent and had been working with us for past 6 months. We are not only very satisfied rather having Zohan on our side was a piece of mind where entire real-estate industry is in a crazy phase now. 1. Zohan starts from the scratch - knowing our requirements, budget and availability for showing. 2. We were looking for houses in NJ whereas we were staying at Long Island (2.5-3 hour drive one-way). So, he used video conferencing to screen the houses first. Then he will try to schedule as many as possible over the weekend. Huh!! Not an easy task. 3. He guided us through the entire process - searching, offering, negotiation, closing and post-closing. Also, letting us know about the entire area and his special gift that we would remember forever. 4. At offer stage, his guidance was outstanding whether the house is worth or not. He would go beyond regular agents to find details about the house when the house was sold last time to the current owner. Was there any issue? How much renovation was done by the new owner? In fact, that saved us from proceeding with one house even after we offered initially as we got to know some issues with the structure when it was sold last time. His due diligence is AMAZING!!! 5. Last but not the least, I think this guy never sleeps; he sent our contract around 11 PM and we signed around 2 AM. He submitted around 4 AM. Whether it's weekend or night time, he is REALLY one text/call away. Zohan is very young but that is not his disadvantage rather his energy and due diligence supersedes everything. Also, when he needs any suggestion John is always there. So it makes a great amalgamation of fresh blood, energy and entire team's experience.
