    Answered Questions

    Being disabled owning a home?

It starts with finding a local lender or one on the internet. Have a conversation and see if you feel confortable with that person before you do an application. Was their call back time good. Do they offer you some options and do they know about any benefits a disabled person may have or other financial assistance. Can properies be modified and paid through lender?

What is the first step in buying a home?

Make an appointment or call a local lender or one found on the internet. Make sure they make you feel comfortable. Look for any reviews they may have. Ask what kind of experience they have. Sometimes a person starting out may actually be more eager to assist to build up their clientel and reviews. They will be taking up a good amount of your time and their time. Make sure to not promptly comply with their requests so as not to miss out on that perfect property.

Can I sell part of my property?

Hi. Please do this first step. Call the locale property accesor or appraiser and ask them if the property is available to split and if so will it be buildable. If the answer is yes, you will need to contact a survey company to assist. You do not want to sell a piece of land that will not be usable to the buyer. Always use a professional Title Agency. Do not try to do a deed on your home. I have seen nighmares arise when not using a title agency.
