My recent home buying experience had its share of hiccups when dealing with the selling agent, but John McLain and the entire RE/MAX 365 team made my experience about as stress free as could be. When I was working long hours on an important project at work they fielded questions late at night during the weak or early on a Sunday morning. ZillowVERIFIED I highly recommend Mr. McLain. In the fall of 2018 I found a 6 acre piece of property that was listed by an agency I did have experience with. A close friend of mine recommended Mr. McLain. I approached Mr. McLain about the property and brainstormed a few thoughts on what may be the best tactic to present to the owner's agent. Initially we presented an offer slightly below the listing with a (5) five year balloon. The offer was accepted, but there were other conditions being requested by the selling agent. Mr. McLain suggested that I counter with an offer approximately 15k below the initial offer to be paid in-full at the time of closing and request an immediate closing once the title search was completed and reviewed. Thanks to Mr. McLain's instincts and research we learned of the buyer's drive to sell and secured the property at great savings. If asked if I would utilized Mr. McLain in the future? Yes.
