ZillowVERIFIED Very tough time to find a house in this market, he was able to find us our dream home before it got on the market. Given how much houses are selling for right now we were are to get within our budget. He also sold our house, and was straight forward about what we needed to do to make sure it sold for what we wanted. He made everthing for simple for and is very comfortable person to talk to about anything. We told him what we wanted in a home for our family and he made it happen. Couldnt have asked for a better relator.

ZillowVERIFIED I was a first time home buyer who just happened to be matched with John when I inquired about a home on Zillow. Couldn't have been luckier to get paired with John. He is extremely knowledgeable about the entire home buying process and willing to answer any question honestly, no matter how trivial of a question it may be. A huge plus is John's background in home repairs and renovations. With this background, he is very quick to spot small details in a house (positive or negative) that others would walk right past. I appreciated his honesty when pointing out issues in homes we looked at. He isn't a realtor that is just out to get you into any house so he can cash his check. John wouldn't hesitate to tell you when a house is not worth asking price or to tell you to just walk away from a house. He's very patient and more than willing to look at numerous homes until you find the perfect fit. I also appreciated how available he was. Willing to look at houses at any time of day, even on weekends. I'll definitely be recommending John to any friends and family looking to purchase a home in the area and I'll be giving him a call if I ever decide to sell my house in the future!

ZillowVERIFIED Ive bought two house with John. He is a hard working realtor and deserves each penny he makes. Hes sharp on time and honest in opinion. He once showed me a house and upon checking it he advised me not to buy the house because it had a bad foundation. On another occasion I liked a house and bought it with him but he wouldnt let the purchase go through before insisting on making another visit to the house and take a second look at the basement. Once he checked the basement was ok he went on and proceeded with the buying process. I highly recommend working with John. Its rare to see an honest person now a days.

ZillowVERIFIED As a first time homebuyer, and the first person in my immediate family to buy a house, I didn't know anything about the process when I started looking. John was great about explaining the process and getting me in touch with the people I needed to to get ready to buy a house. He showed me about 6-7 houses until I found the one I wanted, then we went to make an offer and there was a mix up at the mortgage company that led to us not getting the house. After that we looked at another 4-5 houses and when we got ready to make another offer I was laid off from my job for 9 weeks. John called me once a week all 9 weeks to stay in touch and when I got back to work we went right back out looking at another 7-8 houses. He gave me great advice about locations of houses and the availability of rental income in different areas, and has a great knowledge of Kalamazoo. All this led to finally having an offer accepted after over 8 months from when we first started looking. John was always available at any time, always great at staying in touch, and had very helpful insight on the houses, especially with ones that needed repairs. The house I bought was $55,000 but with How much work John put into getting me in my house over such a long period of time and with so many bumps in the road, you would have thought I was a client buying million dollar homes. I've already given his business card to 2 coworkers and would refer anybody I know to him.
