He listened to my fiancA(C)e and my needs and desires in a home as first-time buyers, and even helped point out a major issue that I didn't catch with the first house we thought we wanted (septic related) that I'm sure other realtors would have glossed over either out of ignorance or in the interest of not talking us out of a home we wanted to purchase. After taking us around to about 10-15 homes over about a 2 month period or so spanning 30-40 miles apart, we finally found a place that was absolutely perfect for us and John helped negotiate a deal we were very pleased with.Instead of trying to close a sale as quick as possible, John truly advocated for us in every step of the process and clearly knew more ins-and-outs of real estate and the related paperwork than what I ever expected. Never once did we feel rushed or like we were being unrealistic in our search criteria -- we were allowed to make those decisions for ourselves and John was always happy to give his advice when asked for.As for the transaction, the process couldn't have been more smooth and the lender, inspector, etc. that John recommended were A+++.Thanks John (and Kerry W.) for your help in getting us settled in a house that is becoming our home and making it fun along the way!
