I had been searching for a house since I lost my Paradise home to fire one year, six months, and five days before this house closed. John walked me through the process of buying my extraordinary new home, making sure I completed all the necessary actions, understood what I signed, and reminding me to contact utilities. John was courteous, kind, and generous but not pushy--encouraging me when I wavered and keeping my focus on my priorities. He brought over an inflatable bed and sheets (I have NO household goods), making it possible to sleep in my new home the day it closed. John s deeply personal approach to his work shows in his meaningful-to-me housewarming gift, something that had belonged to his mother, who with his father lost their home to a different fire. John continues to offer help if needed; Just call, anytime. I will wholeheartedly recommend John Hook and his team, who reflect his ethos, to anyone looking to buy or sell in the St. George area.
