John and Maggie are amazing to work with! They helped us buy and sell our home and made the entire process seamless. They are super responsive, extremely flexible and will always go out of their way for their clients. They even helped us move when we purchased our home, which is something no other realtor can offer. Highly recommend if you are looking for a realtor!

John was great! Lives in Windsor so he knew the area and the neighborhoods in detail. He helped me find just what I wanted, a house in Waunakee with open space behind. He moves fast and doesn't seem to rest but I never felt pressured and appreciated the attentiveness. He made the whole process smooth and easy for someone who hasn't bought a new house in years. Great at communicating by text, and sending reminders after the offer was accepted about the additional steps. I recommend highly!

First of all John is very reliable and responds within a timely manner. He is knowledgeable, efficient and professional throughout the entire process and alleviated any concerns i had. This is my second time I had him as my realtor and am extremely satisfied with his work. John helped us on selling our house in another state and guided us through all the steps involved in selling our property.

Look no further!!! If you are in the market for a Real Estate agent, you can stop your search. John Hamner(Hamner Real Estate Group) is the best. He is professional, knowledgeable and listens to what you want. He will go out of his way to make your home buying experience or home selling experience the best. His communication and follow-thru is top notch as well. We have used John for the sale of our house and have used him for the purchase of our new house. I would recommend him to anyone and would definitely go with him again. In addition to using Hamner Real Estate for the sale and purchase or our houses, they also provide a 'move for free' service. Contact them for additional information on this awesome service.

John helped my husband and I find the perfect home in the Madison area!! He was very helpful, responsive, and knowledgeable. He even helped us move on the big day which was a huge help. As first time homebuyers, we could not have done it without him! If you're looking for a kind and trustworthy realtor we would highly recommend John!

I strongly recommend John at Hamner Real Estate Group! As our real estate agent, he went above and beyond to help our family find our first home. We looked at far more houses than we probably needed to and John made sure we were taken care of the entire way through the process. He also worked very well with us being a military family and navigating the VA Home Loan purchasing process. John not only helped us find our home and facilitated the deal but also advised us throughout the process. He was honest and flexible. He helped us with all of our requests and our unique situation and I really believe you wont find someone better to work with while looking for a home!

The Hamners were absolutely wonderful. They had so much patience with us and never rushed us into a home that wasnt right. They always gave wonderful advice, they made themselves as available as they possible could for us, and were just genuinely trustworthy people. They were super responsive and willing to help us any time we needed. I cannot reccomend John and Maggie enough. They go above and beyond in helping and it truly always felt like they cared and wanted to support us. They even got us a lawn mower when we found our house. We hit the jackpot with John and Maggie. Other people can help you find a house, but John and Maggie helped us find a house and made it a home. I cannot reccomend them enough!

I can safely say that John is the best real estate agent weve ever worked with, and we have bought and sold multiple properties, including single family homes and rental properties. He knows how to look at a house beyond aesthetic value and spot things that might be concerning (like land graded toward the foundation, suspicious looking tree branches that would fall on the roof, the condition of the roof, foundation issues, water damage, etc.). He also is just a nice, personable guy all around. Super easy to work with and makes house shopping feel like meeting up with your buddy to go look at houses together. He had a good sense of what repairs might need to be done and what equipment/labor could look like. He even has a bunch of tools that he will let you borrow if you need them. We used John because we were doing a 1031 exchange and needed to sell and buy a replacement rental property within the time constraints. He is a CPA and has experience overseeing 1031 exchanges both personally and for clients, and he made the process as easy and stress free as one of these can be. We were buying in a competitive market in Madison, with a limited amount to time to identify the replacement property, and John was able to help us write multiple offers and strategize these offers so we ended up getting the best house ever for asking price. He also hooked us up with our first renters AND gifted us a photography session with an awesome real estate photographer that he works with (see attached pics for a few samples) to help us with our rental listing. John is so nice, and I would not hesitate to work with him or his wife, Maggie, again in the future.
