ZillowVERIFIED I was moving to Florida and I needed a place to rent until I found a home to buy. Mr Desautels had a home listed for rent. We set up an appointment so I could see it. I flew in and when I arrived at the home I saw Mr Desautels in a verbal altercation with someone. I decide to not stop and get in the middle of it. Later I told Mr. Desautels that I did not like that and was nervous about doing business with him. He said ? yes because you pretended to be my client?. Like somehow I set him up for something. I thought it was a misunderstanding so I researched his name online, I am happy I avoided him, I would not recommend him.

As first time home buyers we were not very knowledgable about the market but were pretty dead set on what we wanted and were willing to wait until we could find it. John stuck by us and never once tried to steer us in another direction. He showed us many homes and never once gave up in finding us our dream home. ZillowVERIFIED John is a true professional, he knows all the areas we were searching - Largo, Seminole, Belleaire, basically all areas close to the beaches. My wife and I were doing much of our searching on line and long distance. John patiently worked with us and acted as our eyes. We did come a few times to look around, but he went on his own many times to see the homes we liked and we trusted him completely. ZillowVERIFIED John was on top of everything from the beginning. My buying experience began in early 2015. I lived in Ohio and wanted to move to the St. Petersburg area. It took me nearly a year before I even went to FL to look at homes but during this time John stayed in touch, sending me new home for sale announcements every day. He took me to 15-20 homes over the course of 5 days when I came to FL in February. He professionally guided me to homes that I might want to make an offer, which I did, and the result being Im now in my Fl home, since April.
