He really listened to what we were looking for and what our budget was. Joel never pushed us to look at something that would make us house broke. He was patient with us as we were all over the place for locations. He was flexible as far as showings and working with our schedules. He was also honest when we were looking at homes about their qualifications for certain loans as well as whether we had a real chance of securing the home. We highly recommend Joel if you're looking for someone who's going to be honest and upfront with you while helping you find what your looking for but also keep your feet in reality.

ZillowVERIFIED From day 1 it was clear that Joel would give us the attention needed to sell our home for the price we were looking to achieve. Joel works with some fantastic people including, but not limited to: photographer - it's one of the main things you need done professionally and quickly to get people in the door - and that it did, with 16 showings the first week///lawyer - communication and bottom dollar are key in this arena and our transactions always seemed like they were the only thing going on to Groll Law (even though they had 12 closings on the day we dual closed - Jonathan still showed up to our buy, keeping full care of what was in our best interest). We appreciated Joel's attentiveness to detail and willingness to find what was right for us. Joel also has no problem telling you when something doesn't seem appropriate while staging your home or while buying. It is your interest that he has at heart and even though he has other listings, we always talked with him and were made to feel the priority. Communication was top notch. His eyes catch different flaws and details that I(a remodeling contractor) even overlooked. We found our forever home in Lombard and it happened to be a short sale. Joel has experience in shorts sales and was able to keep our emotions under control lol. A short sale is anything but short. We love our new home. Once we moved we were under the gun to sell our old home. With Joel's advice we did some minor repairs like fresh paint and carpet. 7 days after listing we had several offers. He was also understanding with flexibility in terms of location of the house as we had a radius of about 20 miles.
