Despite many hoops, he sold my condo and we were so happy with the sale price! In a super competitive summer market, Joel helped us get our offer accepted in a multiple offer environment. When we first started working together, I was set on a townhome within a certain budget. Well, working with Joel I was able to land a single family home in that budget, and I am so happy each day in my new home. With the many homes we looked at, I am still in awe that this is my house - and Joel played a big part in helping me get here. He was kind, easy going and most importantly for us, not pushy at all. He gave us our space to peruse the property at our own pace. We chatted a bit and he seemed genuinely interested in what our needs were and what we were looking for. After looking at several open houses on our own, we decided that we needed representation and felt really good about giving Joel a call to represent us in our journey to purchase a home. Funnily enough, he already had a list of homes ready that met our specifications when we called! Joel is both a golden retriever and a shark - and by that I mean he is probably the kindest person you will ever meet, yet absolutely formidable when it's necessary and the situation calls for it. The office he works for also has a lot of great benefits - including a free moving truck not just on your moving day, but whenever you need to use it! This was a great touch and proved very useful several times for us. We felt listened to, cared for and ultimately, he pulled out all the stops to secure us our dream home. He had a marketing and pricing strategy that paid out big time; It was not what I would have expected, and I truly believe that his plan led to a quick sale with a highly qualified buyer at maximum price in a slowing market. Joel was quick with communication and the very few times he didnt have the answer he went back to (what appears to be) the incredibly supportive team at Whissel, and followed up quickly. Choose Joel for an agent that truly gives more time and support than imaginable. More so, choose Joel so you have that support with someone so warm and agreeable!

He certainly went against my preconceived notions about Realtors. I had a couple of negative experiences working with agents before I was introduced to him, and he came as a breath of fresh air. We hit it off from the start. It was apparent based on his follow up, great communication and thoughtful answers to my (many) questions that he was knowledgeable and truly interested in finding me a home. The one of many things I loved about Joel is we seemed to vibe and be on the same page. Joel truly listened to my wants and did not show me properties he knew I would have no interest in and try to convince me why it was a aEURoegreataEUR? find. We teamed up and he got to work targeting properties that both interested me and that qualified for an FHA loan. He found me a lender who was also really communicative and who was able to get me qualified where my previous lender could not. Once we began putting offers in, it was clear he was being communicative with the sellers as well. I feel his communication and negotiation skills were a huge part of what got me into my new home. He helped take away a lot of the stress and anxiety of home-hunting I was used to and actually made it fun! I was ready to give up thinking being a home owner would never come to fruition and then here came Joel to save me from myself and my negative thoughts about the home purchasing process. Joel made my home purchase process a truly amazing one. I worked with a couple of Realtors before working with Joel and he in my opinion is the best and will give his all to make you becoming a home owner a reality.
