They are without a doubt the BEST real estate agents in the San Jose-South Bay area (and quite possibly the entire bay area). Buying and selling real estate is not for the faint of heart, let alone a small or easy task. This is THE tiger team you want to entrust with your real estate needs. We have had the worst experience with agents, from both a selling and buying perspective, to the point where we considered selling and buying on our own with no agent. Before we were introduced to them, we have worked with a few other agents and were on the edge giving up buying a house cause all the crazy market. A big difference I feel was, Sandy and Joe never ever push us to increase our budget like others do. They made us believe that with our budget we still can get a house that we call home. I still remember the first day we met them, Sandy told us you will know the house is the one, just like it's destiny. And how she felt so when she bought her house. My husband and I were first time homebuyers, and knew we were going to need a lot of handholding. We wanted agents that not only had deep knowledge of the local market, but had patience in spades. We interviewed several potential agents, but Sandy & Joe just clicked for us. And we were right aEUR" they were constantly available to us, were super patient, were never pushy, and are just lovely people. They met us for showings at all hours of the day, and answered our million questions without batting an eye. And even after we closed, when they could have washed their hands of us, they checked in on us, and even came over to show us how to run a few things we couldnt figure out. Who does that? At some point during the search, my husband and I were fatigued by the whole process and frankly, were headed toward making an offer on a house that felt like a compromise, just because we were too tired to keep looking. Instead of going for the quicker commission, Sandy & Joe pulled us back, telling us not to do it if we didnt love the house, and that they didnt think we loved it. So the search went on, and we finally found the right home (significantly less expensive, to boot), and we were so glad we did. And that would not have happened without Sandy & Joe. ZillowVERIFIED There are SO many realtors out there to work with and I know first hand how difficult it is to find a good one, one you can actually trust. I worked with quite a few realtors before I was introduced to Sandy and Joe by a good friend. Right off the bat, Sandy and Joe were super friendly, super responsive to text, calls and email, and available for any of the limited available times I could actually meet. My fiancA(C) and I were looking at homes in Santa Cruz and although Sandy and Joe weren't totally familiar with that area, they did their best to research and make sure they could meet us to tour homes and offer any info they could gather. From the start, Sandy and Joe made it clear that they weren't just here to sell us a home, they were here to sell us OUR home. Every time we visited a house, Sandy would reiterate that we didn't just want any house, we wanted one that fit our needs, wants, and that made us feel at home and comfortable with the price. They both offered their truthful opinions when we asked what they thought of each home. This is exactly what my fiancA(C) were looking for: honesty and to know if the houses we toured were worth the price. After 8+ months of looking for a home we finally found one that was perfect for us! And although the buying process was pretty awful (it really was!), Sandy and Joe were available 110% to guide us through this new and strange process. Sandy also did some incredible negotiation when we finally found OUR home. She made it her mission to get us that home and when it came down to several other buyers, she was relentless to do her part - and it worked! She gave us regular updates (we really needed those!), she called the sellers multiple times to let them know we were in it to GET that home, and made sure to be the one realtor to deliver info in person, which helped create a great personal touch. Even now, months after moving into our new home, I'm still maintaining relationships with Sandy and Joe. They're still offering advice and knowledge and they're just wonderful people to know. The first agent mentioned that she only works with a client who is looking to buy a home worth more than a million dollars. "Her assistants" would help me instead of her. The second agent was way off in his estimates and did not know the market situation which resulted in a losing bid. Sandy and Joe were referred to me by my financial advisor. The first meeting with them was very helpful in understanding the process. It is the best thing to have a clear understanding of the process while taking the biggest decision of your life. Sandy and Joe explained each field and the consequences attached to them in a real estate contract. The human factor makes a huge difference in this process. They both are always available to help with any questions you have on the property you are interested in. Their competitive analysis for the homes were spot on each time. Sandy was ready to come to the house showing any time we requested her presence. After you put in the bid, it is obvious to have anxiety and second thoughts. Sandy made sure to provide timely updates on the process and follow up with seller's agents were really helpful for us. After the bid gets selected, the real process starts. Disclosure statements are cryptic documents, you need to decode each word to understand the real house condition and work needed to be done to make it livable. Sandy and Joe were not only helpful but also made sure to point out things which needed to be done before we move in. The best thing about them is that they have contacts for each work that needs attention in your future home. They made my house hunting their problem and got me the exact place I call every day my home sweet home.
