The coordination of the activities, the fact that I was constantly kept in the loop, and, above all, the professionalism of the Jody Clegg Team was phenomenal.Jody returned our phone request for a meeting within minutes and arrived at our house the next evening with Teri Tucciarone. Jody and Teri toured the house and then Jody asked me to describe my objectives in selling. After making sure that she understood "where I was coming from" Jody described the entire process in detail and then identified key decision factors: price, commission rate, and marketing approach. Jody explained the options of each as well as pros and cons of choosing different approaches based on my my objectives and the house - age, condition, location, etc. We agreed on the factors and I signed that evening.Jody's team (Teri, Travis, and others) arrived the next morning to go through the house and the grounds. They asked a lot of questions relevant to the sale of the house. They also asked me to describe and explain anything that I thought might be relevant. Over the next few days, Teri's team came in and designed the "staging" of the home - the ambiance that they wanted to create. Teri chose to go with a beach/"Huntington Beach" theme for the staging. We also discussed furniture that I would like to leave as well as their suggestions on furniture that would fit the staging theme.At the same time, Travis was scheduling the sequence of events and the detailed activities required to support those event. Travis worked with closely with me to schedule what I needed to do: arrange transport of furniture to new home, storage, etc. Travis put the timeline on the internet and hooked me up to it. Travis continued to maintain the timeline through the close of escrow.I introduced several minor quirks as Teri and Travis pressed forward. I wanted to leave a baby grand piano, a grandfather clock, and a couple of other things that I could not take to my new home. By the time the house was sold, all was taken care of. This included the remains of an antique, 300 pound marble table that my movers damaged. The appraiser was not to be available until after escrow closed, so Travis brought in movers to carefully wrap the remains, ship them, ans store them for review by the appraiser.I moved on to my new home, 600 miles away, before the first open house on the property. Teri and Travis kept me informed daily (and often more frequently) by phone calls, text messages, and email. I was watching the marketing unfold from my new home, and it was IMPRESSIVE! The announcements, videos, photos, and overall marketing was truly professional. As events moved extremely quickly (the offer that I accepted was made the first open house day). Travis and Teri advised me on the implications of decisions that I had to make and Jody was providing input all the way.Escrow closed rapidly. The day escrow closed, I misunderstood the final transaction and became concerned. I contacted Travis and Jody that Monday evening. Travis called back within minutes and described the process which actually happened after escrow closed (dealing with title change cost) and which I misunderstood. Jody called a few minutes later and I let her know that Travis had already called. I understood that the problem was a misunderstanding on my part and final movement of funds occurred the next morning exactly as described by Travis.
