I was growing frustrated and discouraged, thinking that maybe now was not my time to become a homeowner. Then I found Jodi. She replied to my inquiry for more information within 10 minutes around 9pm on a weeknight. I knew we were off to a good start. I was never left wondering while working with Jodi, as she was always quick to respond. From first being in touch with her, she began recommending listings that werent on MLS, making knowledgeable notes regarding listings I was interested in, and sharing her local knowledge with me,. I was amazed by her support and knowledge of the area! Within a week of being in touch with her, we went to our first showing together. That same night, we submitted an offer and within 12 hours, our offer was accepted!!! Jodi put me in touch with an all star mortgage team and between the two, I was always in good hands. Just one month after the offer was accepted, we closed on our first home!! I know that had I not found Jodi in time, my new home would belong to someone else. Our situation was unique: 2 years of on-and-off searching, an intense week in town to make an offer (including rescheduling a dozen private showings with 1 day notice of our flight cancellation), and a final transaction from 3,000 miles away in peak real estate season. Unlike most agents, Jodi took the time to ensure that every question that we asked of her was answered to our satisfaction. In the past 30 years of working with agents as both a contractor and a consumer, she is a refreshing rarity. Many agents out there are part-timers and unfortunately it shows. Jodi is a true professional committed to her field and more importantly, her clients. As anyone who has bought or sold a house knows, it can be a very stressful process, but Jodi helped make it as easy as possible. She was quick to respond to any questions or concerns, offered valued advice with out being over bearing or pushy, had a great strategy for helping us sell our home in a tough market at a fair price and even managed to help us find just the right home when time was running short and we were afraid we might have to rent. Of course in between those 2 points of time (selling and buying) there were dozens of calls, regarding potential buyers of our home, buyers agent, homes we viewed, potential sellers, sellers agents, attorneys, loan agents, inspectors, the list goes on and on, and Jodi handled it seamlessly.
